Got my shipment from JR today. [Cool]

I got the weekly special of 10 H. Upmann. They are in tubes. Should I put them in the humidor? They are in aluminum tubes and in a cedar lined box.

BTW, I have been watching our humidity here. It runs from 60-75% most of the time. Im not too sure how important a humidor is here, at least right now. It will get higher in the summer and winter, most likely....

That has always been a puzzle to me, as well. You have to wonder how much benefit that a cigar in a tube will derive from a humidor?

H. Upman? Never cared for them.

Good hunting. LB

Guess its a taste thing? I liked them alot. I really didnt care alot for the LaFinca. Its ok, but not what I remember. But, I ordered the bigger ones. The ones I had before were smaller, Coronas, I think?

Sorry if Im asking too many questions....

I always took the caps off of my tubos when putting them into the humidor.

Most of the tubos that I bought were from Cuba, they made a nice special occasion cigar.

Each type of cigar from the same or different makers, has it's own unique taste. There are literally tens of thousands of different types of smokes to try.

To each his own.

Cigars in tubes are great... at least the tubes are.

Over the years I've ruined a zillion pairs of khaki pants with the good ol' exploding ink pen trick.

Now I carry my ink pen in an old aluminum cigar tube in my front pants pocket. Ain't ruined a pair since.

A million other uses too.

Fill those old Tubo's full of raw wool. Then add some coyote lure and cap it.

When you get to the location you want to set a trap, just drive a piece of rebar into the ground a few inches, waller out the hole and stick the tube in it.

Remove the cap and you are done.

I can put in a flat set or post set in under a minute using those old tubes.
