Hey guys, Just had another question what times of the year are good for hunting coyotes and which are bad?? I've heard of people calling them year round. But then others say its impossible to call a dog in the summer. And that hunting during the cold times of the year are the best. Does it maybe depend on certaian calling techniques at different times of the year. Anyways just like to hear what you guys tought of it.

A man can call coyotes in my area any time of year. Stand selection, time of day, sound selection and other factors must be considered- but they will come to a call anytime.

It seems like the coyotes are a little harder to call during the actaul breeding period, if they are paired up. (when female is in heat)But if i can find singles they seem to come in to call anytime, proably looking for mate.
