I didn't want to hijack the novel, but I was curious about the photo of you wearing a sombrero holding the bobcat. Another board member and I were casually talking about the cleverness of the photo and your chaps wondering just what the heck you were going to do with that bobcat anyway.
Then the question arose as to whether you were wearing a thong or not causing me to blow hot coffee. LOLOL
Great photo.
I don't know what it is about "striped shirts" in So AZ. Must be something in the well-water. [ March 08, 2006, 01:19 PM: Message edited by: InjunJoe ]

Joe,
I kinda thought the same thing. That's just the kinda picture a guy needs to frame and hang in his man room. I hadn't thought about the leather chaps and why. That there's funny. I don't care who you are.

What? Did I hear right? He wasn't wearing pants under those chaps?
Turn around Tim, let's see those Brokeback butt cheeks.
Good hunting. LB

My wife took that picture of me a few weeks ago.
The entire purpose of the picture was to be used for yanking Nistetter's chain. But I never got around to doing it.
I put the chaps on just for the picture, I wore the shirt to impress Jay, I wanted one with blue and white stripes, just because he loves them so much, but that was as close as I could find.
And that's not a sombrero. Sombrero's have a more pointy top, and the brim curls up. I don't like hat's with curled up brims, they tend to fill up with rain and then dump all at once down the back of your shirt. I like a wide brimmed had because I don't like to wear sunglasses.
That rifle is slated to go to the gunsmith's this weekend. Going to have it rechambered to 300 Win Mag and the barrel cut down to only 30" It'll be my new match rifle until I can get a new one built next year.
Edit:
If you really want to see what I was wearing under the chaps, here it is!

That looks like John Henry's old shirt. Could be worth a few bucks?

I still can't figure out why that guns needs a scope. Couldn't you just put the muzzle right next to where you wanna hit 'em and squeeze the trigger. Of course, you probably carry a fire extinguisher with you to put out the hair fires caused by point blank muzzle flashes. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Tim, I just might need to borrow those Chaps one weekend. Let's talk.

I swear, Arizona is getting a worse reputation than San Francisco! Remember the Village People? they are retired now, living in Sun City, AZ. (very close to Jay/Bob)

I'm a couple of inches shorter that Leonard's friend John-Henry. I'm only 6'4"
Lance, if you set off that KDF brake next to anything with out hearing protection, it'll probably bleed to death from it's ears.
Leonard, I agree. But in your typical Government screw up, they are building that big fence along the South side of Arizona instead of the West side.
They are locking out all of the hard workers and good looking women, and now we are getting stuck with all of the fags and freaks from the land of the fruits and nuts.
