Many moons ago.
My Dad, Mom & their first born[my oldest sister]. Were eating at a local restaurant. My sister, was around 2yrs old. A goldy locked, precious little thing. Wearing a little tuffed dress.
Dad had her sitting next to him on the wooden bench. Mom, was sitting directly across. Sis was on a little booster chair.
The Restaurant owner, was a Greek man. He spoke broken English. He also kept his "cat" in the restaurant. This bothered my Dad [he wasn't a big fan of cats]. Let alone animals in a restaruant.
He summoned the owner over...Dad said, "It's against the law" to have animals in an eating establishment"
The owner said, "It's my place, my cat...If you don't like it leave!" They stayed...
As they were eating, the cat kept around my sister's legs. Dad was irked. They kept eating.
soon, my sister, started screaming!
Dad looked down, that cat was useing her chubby little legs for a scratching post. Dad grabbed the cat, by the throat with one hand & pulled it away from sis.
Mom, tended to sis's bloody legs.
Mom then looked @ my Dad [he was bent over, eating with one arm above the table]. She said, **** "what are you doing?"
Dad said, "shut up & eat" ![[Mad]](mad.gif)
The cat soon fell silent.
Next yr, rolls around. The Greek steps out of a local store & meets my Dad face to face. He starts Yelling, "You kill my cat!!" POLICE!...POLICE!
Dad said, "Yah, I killed your damn cat & warned you about, having animals in a restaruant"
The man shut up & moved on.

I love that story, but I still don't get it?!?!? lol
edit: oops, never mind, i just got it. he didn't want to get busted for having a cat in the restraunt...DUH!?!? ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Don't know Loco. I would have to guess. My Dad gave him that..."You remind me, of your cat" stare! LOL!
