I hate to hear that.

But after 87 years, you can't say he was short changed. I hope I last that long.

Well, if you live to be that old and your a legend like Del Western...Nothing needs to be said except God bless you Del.
Sam Dudley has been dead for years, his son Bill shot him self and bled to death so the story goes. Both died in the 60s I believe. We are talking three really famous predator callers from Arizona guys.

It is a very big loss.

Understanding the coyote is not as important as knowing where they are.
I usually let the fur prime up before I leave 'em lay.

The first predator call I bought came with audio instructions..Bill Dudly on one side Del Western on the other..copied Del's style of callin thought it was easier to mimic..what a great name Del Western.

Hate to hear that. Del Western was the one that called more coyotes in the contest than me, beat me out of first place in contest. I agree on calling, even though Bill Dudley instructed me and helped me I wound up calling like Del Western, didn't realize it until I heard the same tape. When I was around Del did not call in the world contest or the Arizona championship so I never heard him call. Del and his pardner Benny Murray used to use little home made blinds of chicken wire covered with burlap, they would roll them up to carry, unroll and make little circle to crouch inside of when calling. Del was a horse shoe er when I knew him.
