They find thirty bodies in a NO nursing home. Now, if you ask me, that was criminal failure on the part of the local authorities. However, I bet the lunatic fringe (Democrats) will want to know why Bush let it happen, since he don't care about black peoples.

You're right on the money.
I lived in biloxi,ms.from 1981 until 2002>>21 years,got there when i was 21 yrs.old,biloxi is 65 miles east of N.O. La..I've spent time in N.O.and i can tell you it is a place like no other i have seen.It's very hard to explain their mentality there ,it's as crooked a place as there is .The police force there will arrest people during Mardi Gras if they appear to have money,<<and you will pay.You can be parked in a "parking lot" and get a parking ticket if you have an out of state tag.I was pulled over doing 45 in a 45mph zone and told boy 45 mph is the maximum speed limit,if i had been the hot head type they would have whacked me on the head and put me in jail for something.
I watched a tv show [bill curtis city confidential on A&E] once that started out What group of people rob banks,kill cops,deal drugs,and prositition>>>N.O. police dept..Having been around it- i wasn't at all suprised.
We've been discussing at work how the media always puts a micrphone /news camera in the face of the non self reliant,helpless types.They were talking to people who were trying to help in a very sharp tone"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HELP THESE PEOPLE"we all agreed they were trying to get a riot started.
I feel sorry for the good people over there, lute'n ,begging for help then shooting at the people who are trying to help>>>>>thats Nawalins fo ya...ME

My pity is for the people who couldn't leave [the poor & infirmed]. What a sad day in this country.
As for our Government "not helping in time". There is a [chain of command]to be followed for this. It starts locally, then State, then Fed Government in that order. How tragic ![[Frown]](frown.gif) .
I heard on the news today, [N.O LA] is going to be rebuilt. Sounds like more folly cometh.
