Welcome to the New Huntmasters, jackal. Glad to have you on board.
Interesting that you live in the same town as my friend, Lochi Lochner. I hunted with him a few years ago, managed to kill a few jackals, and other game.
Also interesting that another South African registered on the Board just today.

PS, I found jackals to be so close to coyotes that if it was not for the black stripe, I probably couldn't tell them apart. They sound differently, however, and not as bold.

JA, the plan is that Lochi and I will go and do some calling soon.
Still summer here day temperature goes to about 36 degrees centigrade, do some late night calling and around May start calling during the day,
You must come and visit again.
