Hi Fellas and Gals,

I have a dilemma. Seems like no one in the world ***** a 'white camo' baseball type hat. I'm hunting snow and I hate watch caps.

Any one know where in the universe I can buy a winter pattern ball cap?

Thanks much.

Bud/OR

Ted Nugent wears that zebra hat all the time. That's pretty close. I have the same problem with not finding manly sized winter camo ! I mean the real 4xl that really is 4xl. There are too many girlie-men sized clothes out there. The mfgrs. are missing out on a huge scale for not making good quality BIG MANLY hunting clothes.........I'd buy some.

Hey, Bud/OR! I remember you. Welcome to the New Huntmasters, glad to have you on board.

I bet I threw out 25 ball caps less than a month ago, and I know, for sure that at least two of them were white. Sorry, don't know where to purchase one?
edit: or who $ells one.

Good hunting. LB

I used to by them at J.C.Penneys, mens work clothes section. White painters cover-alls and white hats. Snow camo.
Non-girly-man true 4XL clothes are available in pregnancy boutiques and custom tent makers. [Smile]

I saw one in a Natural Gear Camo catalog. $15 if I remember right. I don't own any Nat Gear but for some reason I was sent a catalog?

Everywear West has an awesome snow camo pattern. And you can get it in a baseball cap.

Rich,
Can't get P.G....fixed. Tent makers? Ah yes, someone who makes tarps in B.C. I'm south of the northern border here. Thanx for the help.

He's probably kidding you, gutpile? At least about the tarp. However, that's what he uses, a camo net cover, but as you are aware, a white sheet would do as well, in snow conditions.

It just depends on your style. Some people like to call the coyote to their hand calls, and some prefer to set a machine away from them so that the focus is on the sound, rather than the hunter. This method does not depend, so much, on total concealment.

Camo, white green or any shade thereof will never hurt you, that's for sure. The more the merrier....but I draw the line at "camo" watchbands and underwear. I also think that a Ghillie suit is not very practical, unless you are hunting other humans.

Good hunting. LB

PS one other exception would be when using a camera, which is getting more and more popular.
