I read that site once in a while. I hate to say this but, it seems like they are a bunch of old women gabbin' all the time with the dominate ones running the show. They get pissed at people for expressing thier views when they ask the question. This site seems more like a real hunting type of forum that is more my speed. I hope I didn't get anyone mad, it's just my observation.

I ain't mad lol. Many of us are OLD and don't have nothing to prove, so go from there [Wink] [Big Grin]

Well, thanks, Gutpile. Appreciate the compliment. Maybe you might find it interesting that I wrote to Primus a while back, volunteered to moderate, just to pump a little life into the program.

They sort of blew me off, said I needed some credentials as a genuine expert, at something or other? Hell, all anybody can offer is free advice and a little opinion, while respecting others.

We try to do that. Some might say HM doesn't succeed every time, but nobody bats a hundred.

We are a relatively small board, but the talent runs deep and I'm proud of all of them.

Good hunting. LB

Leonard, you got to be kidding. Did they come up with that wording "Genuine expert"? No such a damn thing in this sport to include anyone that they think is. Plus I don't think they have any one person on there staff that has more experience predator hunting then you do. If you put every employee at Primos together, they wouldn't have as many years experience as three guys I know from the same high school, sorry, I just had to say that lol [Wink]

See what I mean.. I think you guys are probably a bunch of rebels. Kinda fits in with my Redneck background. Wasn't taught, just learned ! Starting to snow up here, try my luck at some coyotin' this weekend. Asked the Kitchen Queen if she wanted to go. Her answer was, " Why in the hell would I want to go and watch you kill a coyote? " I said for something exciting to do. We have about 7,500 sq. miles in this county with 7,000 people + -. Fairly remote. Great hunting.

HEY! Jay is the one being bad - not me. Not once have I posted about ****** ************ or ***** ********* or told you ** **** ** ***. My posts are never liberally sprinkled with ****** like Jay's are - well maybe once in a while. But only when Jay makes me do it. Besides I'm way to busy cruising the ****** ****** *********** looking for those hundred coyote honeyholes that Danny tells us about.-- See it's really Danny you should be cranky at.

Leonard,
Yes, Curlew Lake. I live about 10 miles north of there. Nice up here!

Sorry.....#3.

See, I just can't tell them apart, see? And, it don't matter, those who have sinned. Hot chicks, eh? Nancy felt left out, discriminated against because of her advanced age.

And, by the way. Who "signed" the guest book, over a week ago? And who made no mention of it, to the rest of us? The bride and groom can be excused, they have other priorities, no? Okay, okay, no harm, no fowl.

But, as you can see, plenty of reasons to get cranky...not to mention this secret Byron/bear thing going on. If you didn't have anything to do with it, I bet you have been thouroughly briefed. AZ people are so clanish!

Oh well, never mind.
Good hunting, too. LB

I'm ruling in favor of Randy. Jay, you misplaced the s.

Instead of "use" you meant "say"; and he deserves the new gun and the DVD.

Good hunting. LB

edit: Dennis gets an * for effort, but that's all.

oh, what the heck, give him a DVD just for playing.

Fruit of the Loom is disqualified.

"fruit of my loins"???

Geeze Higgins! First thing I thought of was dried up raisins 'bout to fall off the ol lilly-white vines. LOL

BTW. Nobody has posted the correct answer yet.

I'll even give the winner a choice between 2 videos. Either "Coyote Behavior" or the lesser publicized version of "Sheep Whisperer". Sheep Whisperer has added footage of dumb Texas turkeys and even dumber Arizona gray fox.

For the next contest we could guess how much Byron South weighs. Whaddyathink?

(that screen name is taken)

Maybe; "Fruit of my_loins"? Try it.

byproduct has such a crude, (and smelly) connotation, don't you think?

Byron's weight: Is that dripping wet, nekked; or not?

Not fair. We all think Randy deserves the gun and the DVD.

G.H., LB

I don't need a new gun and I already own Coyote Behavior. I would be very interested in The Sheep Whisperer. Remember I am from the sticks. Where men are men and sheep are nervous.

Okay, everybody's happy, Jay get's paroled and his vowels back.

Rich? How did it go when Jay told his wife that you think she's hot?

I still don't know what the big secret was? Nevermind, don't want to know, either.

Change subject: Anyone been doing any hunting?

Good hunting. LB

I need your best 223 coyote load, no BS. Dead coyote load, I don't pull fur.

Heck, Eileen knows she's hot, I just stated the obvious. Very classy lady also, way out of Jay's league.
27.5 gr. 748
1365 Sierra
CCI small rifle Magnum

Forgot to mention that the Dec club hunt is this weekend. Tyler is really psyched about the hunt. I gave him the Model Seven, 243, Leupold Vari X III 3.5 X 10. We've been bringing in lots of coyotes lately. Should be interesting to see the numbers turned in on Sun.

Leonard,

I almost hate to admit this. But I haven't had a chance to go calling since I went out on a Saturday morning with Gerry Blair at the HM get together.

I only called in one coyote that morning, and Gerry didn't even see it, but it was probably one of the most memorable hunts I will ever have.

Saturday isn't looking good, but I'm still hoping that I can get out to hunt on Sunday.

If nothing else, maybe I can meet up with Jay or Rich and go calling just with a camera over on the ****** ****** *********** .

As for .223 loads, try this

Hornady 55 SPSX
25 Gr. Win 748
Rem 7.5 primers

This guy pays us a compliment, and so what do we act like?
quote:

But anyhow, thanks for the loads; obviously I'm pursuing something a little different, at least for me.

Higgy, best of luck with your hunt. Your fruit, also. (that don't sound right, huh?) I mean, Tyler.

Tim, you need to find a place to hunt, and trap. If not; next stop, the wilds of Alaska?

Good hunting. LB

Hey Danny,

Are you still gonna let me come kill your coyotes next month?

I've even let you pick, you want a bottle of Tequila, Crown or Jack?

That's a hell of a great offer you made us. It's a shame more can't get loose that weekend!

Edit:

Leonard,

I said I hadn't been hunting coyotes, don't take that to mean I haven't been killing them. By the end of the season, I should still hit that third digit in numbers. Probably long before that. [Wink]

I don't know a single one of you. But that's good. If I did, I'd have to move because I'd probably get in trouble!!!!!!!!! The only person I can harass is my wife. So, now I've found someone new to harass. After 16 + years, she has heard it all. Maybe you should see if you can create a new state? How 'bout " State of Disaster "? Has a ring to it. We could all move there and be in a state of " Denial ".

Heck yeah Tim, no problem. I got Dusty Woods last years World coyote hunting champ to say he'd take a couple of you guys out. How can you pass that one up? To be honest the coyote population in this area is not all that good, I've got a couple this year that's about it. Now that it's cold that could change I hope. [Wink]
