Topic: Bad News!!!!

Well, as bad as I hate to say this, Im not going to be able to make the Huntmasters hunt! OSHA sited me with a non-complance on my ammonia certs. So, I found out today that I haft to go take a cert class before Oct 31st. The only class that is open between now and then is on Oct 22nd! Im so pissed off!!!
But I have three small kids and a wife so, I cant loose my job! I haft to make them first on the list! The GM came out today and told me about it, I tryed every way I could to get out of it or make them give me some more time to get in the class. But no go! The company law man says I haft to go for the safety of my crew!
I was so, looking forward to hunting and talking with all you guys! The more I think about it the more pissed I get!
I hope you all have a great time, and everything goes well! Im sure I can get Higgins to send me some video of the hunt! And you all will haft to keep him in line I gess! I really hate it that this happend like this and hope an invite will be good for next year?

I know I keep telling myself that! But it realy doesnt help...lol Just real disapointed I gess, I was looking forward to this hunt.

Isn't OSHA fun? They may have our best interest at heart, but being a Gov't Organization, they sure can be a PITA.
I wasted most of the afternoon arguing with BOTH the Union and Management not to change my shift at the end of the week. It would have made it pretty hard on me if either had changed it to get my shopping done in time to get to the campsite as early as I have planned.

Yes OSHA is fun! They were in the plant here for almost 4 weeks! You wouldnt believe the things that came back on there report! I know I couldnt! Some of it was stuff that will be good for my crew and needed to be changed and put into place, but some of it is just strait up BS!! And alot of it does more harm than good!
I have stacks of papper on my desk to go threw, and safety stuff to order, not counting all the changes to the machinery I haft to make or change! Not fun! I got a list a mile long of classes I haft to take, then a list of classes I haft to teach here at the plant!
I still cant believe I got screwed out of my hunt!

I have to take my physical tomorrow morning for my CDL drivers license. Among other things we were quietly warned this year to not admit to snoring. Seems the Got'v has taken to yanking the driving licenses of those who snore, until they can prove they don't have sleep depravation or any type of sleeping disorder.
For my job as a Troubleman, if I can't drive, I don't have a job. It's getting to the point that being healthy and fit isn't enough, they just look for reason to find people unfit for duty.

Its a welfare system. The federalies have to justify their high paying jobs and you guys, tim & keekee, get ripped. Regulations & enforcement of same creates & maintains jobs! Guys, get with the program!!! You have to support these incapable bastards! So sacifice!! Oh they also get the lame holidays off, do you?

I only get Thanksgiving, Christmas, Labor day, and 4th of July! Well, lets say im supost to! I work on most of the holidays. I have about had my fill of OSHA. Like I said some of the stuff is good, but most is just BS!
And it never fails everytime I make plans something happens! Everytime! So, I gess after 13 years I may as well start just taking it! I think im starting to like it! Or I just dont care anymore?
