Hey TomTalker here! I signed up the other day after one of the members here asked me if I lived under a rock! I have breezed by a few times and I do recognize quite a few names from othrer forums I visit. I come from the north side of the border but the area I come from is considered the deep south of Canada on the shore of Lake Erie. I'm an odd old Coot that keeps a pet stump that makes calls if you talk to it right The weather up here today has been a little of everything. I went out early this morning in fog and rain and now the sun is shining and the temp is dropping rapidly. Talking about frost. Good!. I took quite a stroll looking for a grouse to acompany me for supper but had no luck. Only saw turkeys and Blue Jays, and rain. Anyhow thought I'd chime in and say hellow. Here's a self portrait from this morning of me checking out some potential reed material

Hey guys! Yellerdog ! nice thing about that material is that therz plenty of it everwhere you go. Seems like more and more all the time. Works great on smaller calls giving good sound with little air flow. .012 as I recall

Hey TT, I'm going to be hunting on the south shore of Erie the 15-17 of this month. If you stand on the beach I'll wave to you. BTW, Bill Austin used No Hunting signs as reeds for his howlers.
