This was taken about 2:00 in the afternoon during a big rain storm. We built a big diving board on a bottle of good "Whiz", and Tim did a 1 1/2 gainer, right into the bottom of it. In this photo, he has not moved since he went to bed at 2:00 AM. [Big Grin]

Take care.

Now Bruce, That's not true and you know it!

I was up by 1:45 at the latest!

And the real reason I had to sleep during the day light was that after you mix a half a bottle of Jim Beam into Bruce's system, nothing with in five miles is going to get any shut eye. I swear I've Never Heard anyone snore so loud in my life! [Eek!]

Tim, I was wondering if you would explain why you were so tired and needed a 30 minute nap. [Big Grin]

Really folks, the truth is, yes I told a story and doctored up the photo.

Heck, I slept just fine and never heard any snoring going on. I think Tim is telling a story. [Wink]
Take care.

Whew! Glad you clarified, Bruce. I thought it was one of those Abu Garib "electrode" photos.

Nobody can make Atomic Buffalo Turds like you! You will be missed.

Good hunting. LB

Looks like the scene in Frankenstein where they bring the monster to life.
That would explain a thing or two. [Smile]

the title of this topic reminds me of a photo from last year, which could have been labeled:

BARE; THE TIM HUNTER!

Good hunting. LB

Hey Tim, looks like your buddy helped/got one, he's way more southwesternized. Maybe if you borrowed the Nation? ha!

Good hunting. LB

Yeah Leonard, I've had a couple of people call and email me about that in the last day or two. I even had one send me a copy of the text he wrote asking if I was the "Roadhunter" he mentioned.

Sorry, but I'm no road hunter, and he'd better not of been referring to me. Road hunting is illegal and considered poaching in Arizona. I'm afraid if the Game Warden came out and started asking questions, I might get nervous and spill the beans about a real poacher and unlicensed guide here in the area. [Mad]

Any way, congratulations are due to Tom Teskey. That's the second bear in two years he's killed. Both were taken while on horseback, with only minimal aid from any dogs, and no other humans even close to the kill. Tom's doing damned good for himself I'd say.

Yes, perhaps not fair, but I too, thought the innuendo refered to a local, who is well known on the boards.

But, about Tom. In reading the account, I got the feeling that he didn't actually want the bear while it was treed, and popped him only in self defense? Maybe he wanted a bigger bear?

Good hunting. LB
