How was the road trip?
Tell us where you went and why.

Hey, Thanks Rich! Wow… what a freakin ride I’ve been on with this company!! Since the beginning of August, I’ve been to Charlotte-NC, Baltimore-MD, York-PA, Detroit-MI and Dundee-MI. I have 2 ˝ weeks off for now.

I can’t thank Byron enough for sending me a companion while being on the road. It gets lonely out on the road, donchaknow, but he found me a real fine specimen. I didn’t know his name and he didn’t come with a name tag, but in all actuality, a name just wasn’t important, just as long as you get-r-done.

He kept on hollering out Baaayron… Baaayron, so I thought he was telling me his name and not who he was longing for, so I named him Baaayron. He sure did work hard while we were away… I’m still wearing the smile he gave me. No… not that kind of smile, a pinky ring he won out of a gum ball machine.

All was riding real smooth with no breakdowns until the night before I got home. One of the ends came off of my piercing and when I woke up that morning, he was as flat as a pancake… Baaayron, that is. All I can say is Thank God for Fix-A-Flat. I tried to follow manufacturers instructions and all, but there was nothing listed on the side of the can for inflatable sheep. So I took a chance, and before long, Baaayron was as good as new.

Finally got home and took us to the tire shop. I needed a more permanent fix on the ole boy for the up and coming trips. Can’t quite explain why all the guys in the shop were off giggling and laughing in hysterics off in a corner. Don’t know, maybe they heard a really good joke or something before I walked in with Baaayron tucked under my arm.

Anyway, we are all settled in and Baaayron has been off sleeping in the shed for two days so far. I think he is really tired. I just checked on him a bit ago and I could of sworn he said in his sleep… “Oh Jaaaay” Hmmm… have to ask him later about that one.

Thanks again Byron for making sure I was well taken care of on the road! It sure was awful nice of you to share.

Hi Sheri.

Welcome back to the cyber world. Next time try some of that green gel stuff instead of fix-a-flat.

Hanna was askin' if I was going to send her to Texas this week so she could attend Baaayron's birthday party for a surprize.

I told her I'd pay half, so she's busied herself doin' what she can to raise some some cash for her half.

Don't really want to explain this caption.

Sheri, what exactly did I send you? My memory is not what it used to be, but I'm glad it put a smile on your face [Big Grin] . I'm coming to PA on the 15th to the PPHA picnic. You coming? Sure would love to meet you.

If ya'll will notice in the picture Jay posted, he is the one pouring the wine down the sheep.

I just wish I got around half as much and that sheep and Sheri.

Ya'll are a fun bunch.

Dundee, Michigan! [Eek!]

That's only 20 minutes from my place! I would like to have met you while you were in town. I'd even have givin you a couple Yellerdog calls to try out. Or you could have tried to hunt some of these Southern Michigan coyotes with me. Oh well, maybe next time.

I'm finding out that there are a few of you are (way) more connected than I ever hope to be, networking, chatting, visiting, and so on. I talk to somebody now and then, and the real names get tossed around and I get SO confused!

Be that as it may, Sheri. Could you please explain, for the dense, such as I; what it is you are doing? The purpose of your travels? A commercial, promotional purpose, what? Or is Hanna the real star?

Good hunting. LB

Is Hanna available in lilly white, and is there any way for a non Texan to acquire one?

Jay... got the green gel stuff... thanks [Wink]

Byron... sure wish I could make it, but I've been gone for so long, I think I would need to find new living accomodations if I snuck out the door again before I'm scheduled to leave [Frown] "Get around half as much as that sheep and Sheri??!!??" [Big Grin] Get-r-done as I always say... [Cool] BTW... I thought you were coming here to the farm to hunt while you are in?

Yeller... sure wish I knew that. I will definately hollar next time. The Dundee store wants me back in December. If corporate approves, I'll be back out soon.

Leonard... Although Hanna, Anna and Baaayron may be stars in so many "hearts" across America, that is not the sole purpose of me traveling [Big Grin] I'm a Field Staff in the game calls division for a company. I get to travel around to many stores and purse my two lips together and blow... on calls. Talk about our products and give a coyote seminar here and there. It has been "THE BEST" time of my entire life, thus far! I'm living a dream.

As far as being available in Lilly White, you will have to talk with Byron on that matter. He is indeed the sheep keeper, donchaknow [Wink]

I'm just along for the ride when I'm out there. They mentioned maybe going to your place, hope so. Wasn't sure if they contacted you are not. Looking forward to meeting you Sheri [Big Grin] .

I'm leaving this morning going to sunny West Texas for a dove/coyote hunt. Be back on Sunday and leave again for PA on Wednesday. Probably see you Sheri between Thursday and Saturday.
