Norm was down in the area lately and stopped by to visit with me for a short time yesterday afternoon.
He also brought me a new seat to use while on a calling stand.
Works Great!
I sure appreciate it!
Thank you again Norm!

Tim, Glad we were able to run into each other... Nice Bobcat.
Given all the rain you got this weekend, you can keep the cheeks up out of the mud and mesquite thorns...
Despite the rain and the hurricane winds, I was able to get 20 coyotes in front of the boys from Missouri. We had one bobcat come in, but would never show itself, regardless of what I did.. yet when we got up, one of the guys saw it moving away... just 20 yds from the caller... Oh well.
As for the number taken, Andy got this new .17 Rem from Victor and all it could hit was mesquite branches!!! They ended up taking 2 the entire week..
In total I think we took 9 coyotes and 1 bobcat (catskin) and I think a good time was had by all despite the weather challenges... [ January 25, 2004, 06:48 PM: Message edited by: Norm ]

Norm,
The weather seems to have changed again. Not a cloud in the sky this morning, warm and not even a slight breeze.
Big difference from yesterday morning.

Yup... probably a bunch of frost on the ground today as well and the predators are actively pursuing a great breakfast...
Oh Well; Try again next Dec when everyone comes back to McNeal.

Huh?
December? It's cold out then. November is plenty late in the year to go camping.

Yup Dec; Isn't that when we are doing the NM hunt as well. Lots of frost, stays cool all day...
Actually the guys that bought year long tags want to Nov or Dec;
