My wife loves that program. Tyler has started watching it also. I figure it to be educational programing for him.
Anyhow-- They ain't just gettin it on in the city. On the club hunt Sunday, just before noon, we turned into a little dirt road that ran between a plowed field and desert, and slowly drove next to a pickup parked next to the mesquite line. The man sitting in the driver seat looked startled, and the lady who's face had been in his lap looked startled and embarrassed when she sat up. We drove a hundred yards further, parked, and worked a stand a couple hundred yards in. When we left 20 minutes later her head was still in his lap. He had a big grin on his face when he waved at us. This is the fourth time I've run into this in the last ten years.
Anyone else?

I would rather be the guy in the truck than the guy driving by the truck!

So....you figure she lost something on the floor, or what? I don't get it? Maybe they had car trouble, and she was checking fuses, etc? Of course, she just might have been tired; resting, ya know?
Could'a been darn near anything, hard to say?
It would have been a little more neighborly if you had pulled along side, and chit chatted for a spell. Folks always in a guldarn hurry, no time for a wave and a "howdy".....did they scare away all the coyotes, or what?
Good hunting. LB
edit: oh yeah, Nancy loves that show, so does our daughter.

I ran into the same thing last summer. At the Stoplight in front of the Dairy Queen. I don't think they'd been there though, She was licking too hard for it to have been soft serve.
He gave me a big thumbs up and a
as the light turned green.

I think the real question is, do you find these situations strange, or are you wishing your wives would take you on similar road trips or drop more things on the floor that she has to try and find.

Reminds me of a story from a policeman friend of mine. He saw a car parked on a dead end road in the middle of the night. He shined his flashlight in the backseat window and up popped a males red face. Apparently his partner was cycling. He said he threw up on the spot.

This subject came up at the station one day when I was doing EMS fulltime and my partner at the time said it right... "I'll swim in the Red River, but I won't drink from it." Greenside, you get the nasty post of the month award.
Related to Rich's post, I beckon back to a day my senior year of high school. My trapping partner and I were cutting across country and thru our trapping area on our way to a basketball game when we saw a pickup parked at the end of a half-mile long dead road where we had traps set. Being naive young men, we immediately assumed that we'd found trap thieves. So, we beat feet down that road in our truck balls to the wall to nail us some thieves. We get there and as we come sliding to a stop alongside that truck, a blanket flies up and we both get a faceful of some old guy's big ol' pink ass as he dismounts.
Never did see the "lady" he had beneath him, but if he was any indication, seeing her would have been close to as traumatic as that moon. We got the hell outta there.

Okay, I'm dense as a post. I wasn't going to ask what the hell he meant, but I have finally got the picture. Thanks. (I think?)
All I got to say is the guy must have just released from prison......
Good hunting. LB
