I just bought one of these on E-bay. It was an accident. I thought I would try to buy it for the pure collectable fun of having one, not actually for using it. When I thought better of it, I tried to retract my bid, but I landed up winning the bid. Oh well, back to plan "A". Might as well enjoy having it.

I know times, they-are-a-changin'. However, would anyone one of you guys tote it out to the field still???? I would love to own a Foxfro. The only problem is the Foxbro costs millions and this record player cost pennies. Literally $300-$500 versus $36.

Description
This is an ELECTRONIC GAME CALLER, MODEL CWH, made by ELECTRONIC GAME CALLS INC. of WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WISCONSIN. It is 10 in. X 8 1/2 in. X 5 in. high and made of metal. It is powered by three 6 volt lantern batteries that fit into a compartment on the back. It has a volume control and a place to store records inside. It has a 10 in. wide metal horn speaker with a long cord and a bracket to hold the speaker on top. It also has a plug-in for a microphone. Included are 3 Johnny Stewart records, Fighting Crows, Dying Crow and Crow & Owl Fight.
I haven't received it yet. We'll see......

Wow, that was my first "electronic" game caller. I bought mine in 1968. It was better on crows than predators. Even then, I still used hand calls because I could call louder and do change ups. The bad part was having to start the record over. And over, and over....
