What's the effect of heat on the irritability level of humans? From what's happening on these boards lately, I'm thinking it must have a major effect?

I think so too, Greenside. But this board seems to stay the "coolest". I think the general population that posts much here has quite a little more knowledge and tact.

Looks like we've managed to loose some of our garbage to a couple other websites. So much the better thats what I say. Without mentioning any names I'll just say it's good to be rid of a couple A-holes whose screen names both begin with S. Let the idiots go play and bitch and moan and whine to their hearts content somewhere else.

Whew! I was a tad worried there Rich. I'm still using that old horn you gave.

Garbage and heat is never a good mix.

All that is required for a good debate is a misunderstanding on some terminology.

I,E. " that coyote stopped at the edge of his core territory". It wasn't exactly hot weather when that one hit the fan, but some great sayings were made.

Just sit in front of the fans boys, July is only half over, wait until you can't draw a breath in August.

Yup, heat stress. Probably doesn't help that some butt-heads and smart alecs are like bad pennies(anyone know what that means?). We just keep turning up.

The heat does seem to make people short tempered. I know at work things have been a little more tense the past few days. It just hit 102 degrees here. Way too damn hot for me.

All in all though this board seems to avoid the bullsh!t that seems to plague other boards. Anybody who has been around these boards long knows that it only takes a few idiots to turn the board into a joke. Leonard can take credit for keeping this place on the right track. Sure there are little disagreements here also but its usually between people who KNOW what they are talking about and it usually makes for good discussion.

Thanks, Lonny. I assure you, and everybody else that I do my level best to keep things as mellow as possible. I hate to see intelligent people (that I respect) get into heated exchanges. And, quite often, it is easy for the rest of us to see the point of contention, and an alternative meaning; that the principles can't see.

I need to thank all of you, for helping. I know it's hot, even my wife gets cranky. (no pun intended)

We have some fun, and we get into serious disagreements, but we also come up with a few gems, along the way. That makes it all worthwhile. [Smile]

Good hunting. LB

Rich,

It never occurred to me you might be talking about Shaun.

I hope not. It's been a long, HOT miserable week down here.

Well, Lonny. I have just spent some time discovering what you meant. Holy Crap! Guess my wife was right; everything always works out for the best. They all have 1400 posts in just a couple of weeks, and not a damn thing worthwhile, to say. Pityful.

Good hunting. LB

Leonard,
Would you check the IP number and see who posted under my name? I would appreciate it. Below is the post in question.

Leonard,
As you can see in my above post, the member # is even different. I swear that I have never posted that sort of garbage in my lifetime. I hope we can find the guy who did post it though.

Rich, what are you talking about? Noone is posting under your name. I am posting under my own name. And I do not appreciate your wild accusations.

You are correct, Rich. Funny that all of us skipped over the fact that the last name was used, and he has been registered for quite some time?

He was using three different screen names, two of which you would probably recognize?

Sorry, I just never picked up on it before. He's disabled now. But he also has a different IP which is still active.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. LB

Now that's funny. Jay and I both respoded to the post and didn't pick up that it was bogus.

Leonard,
Thanks for helping me out on that deal. I think that I know who it was but I can't prove it. Only a coward would pull something like that so you and I both know that he will never reveal his real name.
