Many rumors, but he has reportedly turned up just outside Flagstaff, alive and well.
My correspondent spent a day with Mr Blair, very recently. I wonder if he ever checks these Boards?
Wouldn't that be nice?
Good hunting. LB

Leonard: Reading Gerry Blair Articles in "The Trapper & Predator Caller" is where I got my first true start predator calling I had played with it before that but didn't really know the first thing to do or where to start. Hated it when he quit writting and have missed him in the mag would be great to hear and see his insite again.
Got to meet him at a National Trapping Convention was an Honor he was nice and easy to talk to and more than willing to help if he could.

Leonard? Friend, buddy, pal, compadre... I was hoping this wouldn't come up. It's difficult to say, but...Gerry is a moderator on the Black Board.

Jay, buddy, pal, etc.
We don't have any restrictions on moderators from other boards, joining in on the conversation, do we?
Also, what you mean; "Black Board", white man?
Good hunting. LB

As soon as he is taught a littler computereese, He just might surprise everyone. He's quite the guy, but then again I am always easily impressed.
Shaun, Just for grins, ask JH whtat's the deal with the AZG&F banning airedales from sport hunting? The big T got him all wound up.
LHowl. Gerry is a member of no Boards. I was pulling Leonard's leg. I was pushed into to. Honest officer, it weren't my fault.
Gerry claims to have left a lot of memory (and money) at the hospital but he is still a sharp guy. Rich...What was the quote he used?
His son Michael is quite a photographer too. Some of his coyote, fox and raccoon photos are as impressive as you could imagine. Start thinking Christmas presents. [ June 19, 2003, 10:22 PM: Message edited by: Jay Nistetter ]

Hey Jay, Don't blame this all on me. You told me I might want to mention it to him. Was it my fault if my email was kind of vague? I told him the AR crowd was coming after those who hunt with dogs next, and if he was interested, there was to be a meeting next month in Phoenix to see if they would be willing to give up enough to appease them and keep it off of the ballot.
That's all true isn't it?
If I'd have bogged him down with the details, it would have just taken him longer to contact you.
Be sure to tell Gerry hello for us, if I ever get enough ambition to run that far North, I'll have to make sure to go visit. He's a hell of a great guy, as anyone who has ever met him can attest.
Tim

LH, no kidding, really. Gerry managed to register on Huntmasters, yesterday. I was told that he intended to say howdy, but maybe something came up?

Bringing this back to the top to ask Gerry a question. Hopefully he is still out there!
I loaned a book written by you to my son in law. Well his father saw it and said " Hey, he was one of my dad's hunting partners!!" Do you remember a Dale Wilson by chance?? If so then we may be related in a way!! I know, I know , a horrible thought!! But it tis a small world!!
