Back in mid February I stumbled across this site called Huntmasters. I browsed around and came across a thread where member #2 was being flamed relentlessly. It turned out that this gentleman had it in his power to limit access, close the thread, or delete it entirely. Yet he refrained from doing so. To me this demonstrated patience, integrity and respect for the opposing point of view. Those of you who were here will remember that it wasn’t pretty.
Since that time I have lurked in the shadows, creeping out occasionally, then right back to lurking. Leonard provides an attractive environment to discuss predator hunting where our views can be expressed freely. No retribution for hunting in the summer. No e-mail warning that you are treading on the gray side of the rules when you post about your new call.
I know from experience that there are several costs involved in putting a place like this together. Web hosting, domain registration, and I am next to positive that the support for the message board isn’t free either. I don’t even want to think about what data transfer might be costing. Sure you can find free hosting, but we would be exposed to the hosts advertising. As it is right now we only have those two boxes at the bottom of the page.
I have seen new members welcomed enthusiastically, a couple of months ago I saw a trouble maker get a second, and third chance before being cast out.
Thank you Leonard for your investment of money, time and patience, to make this whole thing possible.

I have to speak up here. Yes, there are differences going on for sure. But one thing I would like to say is, when I asked Leonard to post my pre-order book here and offered him money to go towards him running this board. He said a very firm, No. To me, that alone meant alot. For that I say thank you Leonard. That was appreciated more than I could ever explain.
I hate to see upsets on boards, but, they will happen just about anywhere. But, I don't have to like it though. It's sad.
Anyway, Thank You for giving me this opportunity.
