It has been set up for reprint. It will take roughly one month, give or take a week. I will now be taking pre orders and payment for this starting today. All interested, send check or money order in the amount of $10 per book(this includes shipping) to: Sheri Baity P.O. Box 133 Covington, Pa 16917
If you wish any of these to be inscribed to a particular person, include a note stating so.
This book is half stories, photo gallery (which includes the picture of my 60 pound eastern coyote)and a small section on how-to's of things that have worked for "me" in the least expensive way. I've been hunting and observing the coyote for many years. You will be able to experience stories that have been written straight from the hunter and not someone that is just a writer. There were even times where I would spend three entire days straight in the woods learning, taking notes and hunting.
The price is that of maybe two hunting magazines. No commercials, no sit-coms, just you and me in the great outdoors.
Comments on book already by wives that couldn't understand why their spouse spends so much darned time out in the woods, that have sat down and read along said: "I've hated hunting and couldn't understand him for doing it, but after reading this, it gave me a new light on the beauty that is out there. You have helped me to be more understanding and made me want to start taking notice of the outdoors myself. Thank You for that."
Comments by hunters: "It was like I was right there on your hunts with you. You really kept me on the edge sometimes with your clear descriptions of the surroundings."
"Now my wife wants to go along with me. I think that's good."
There are already some here who have my book and have enjoyed the stories that I don't think would mind telling you their opinion of this book. So feel free to ask around.
So, once again, the pre-orders are being taken right now.
Thank You Leonard for allowing me to post this here.

That was doing up my last will and testicle... errr I mean testamont. Don't worry though, I left something for you when I cross over this great plateau! It's been great getting to work one on one with you and this fabulous company. I have sworn off of eating or drinking anything now, it's better than the atkins diet. I'm learning that life is hazordous to your health and you know, I wouldn't want that. So thanks again for getting me that job and the opportunity to work with you.

Attn Mr. Slydog
I know all about life and I feel for you. Conga-rats on the wedding in June. You get to give your daughter away, but not to worry, they always find a way to come back somehow
Now about this package I promised you oh say, about two months or so ago
On the side where the addresses are, under the paper there will be an envelope taped to the outside of the box(so in other words, DON'T CUT THERE WITH A KNIFE...LOL). I hope you can use these. Only could find three sets for now. But now that I know where the recycling place is, I'll try to keep you supplied with fresh ones.
Thank You for the order and thanks for that lil forget me not. Sometimes my brain tends to go south like the rest of me and I have to fight like heck to get it back. This will be put in mondays mail on my way to meetings.

PETA
Sheri, you work for "Predator Exterminators Taking Aim" [Sorry, it's the best I could do on short notice]?!!?
The PETA thing must be an inside joke [I hope
].
Posted by Crow Woman (Member # 157) on June 01, 2003, 06:34 AM:
It is a big joke
Rich was having a ball making fun of me because I had to cover Earth Day for the newspaper and PETA was supposed to have a booth there.
So here I am dreading like h*ll to even go there. My face has been on the front page of newspapers and in magazines and even on TV for coyote hunting. It's hard to go to a store without people recognizing me and approaching. Plus, my ex-husband that I live with is a die hard dairy farmer. That's the basic background.
And of course Ole Richy Boy just couldn't resist digging every chance he got at how I was going to be reformed by PETA. But I did warn him not to say anything on here or else I would be forced to have a come back prepared. Like him getting me the job in the first place
It turned out that they didn't show and the day was a great time. Heck some of these people I interviewed that have been coined as treehuggers were hunters just like you and I. They knew enough to know that there has to be a balance in everything.
My Daddy didn't raise no fool... hehehe
He always told me, Never get mad, Never get even, Just make D*mn sure, you get AHEAD! hahaha

Your daddy was a wise man,Crow Woman. It's great to look back and realize just how wise ol' Dad and grandpa really were
.
I have had a few discussions on many topics "coyote" via phone with " Mawstah Higgins " of late, and one thing I learned quickly was not to give him any leg pulling ammo
.
I still can't walk right and my hip hurts a lot
He has still got some ammo, so if you have anything on him, share it with me first chance you get,I need all the help I can get
.
Yeah,I thought everyone knew what PETA stood for ?
Even there slogan mentions nothing but varmints, near as I can tell "A dog is a cat-is a rat...is a coyote

Seldom, you got yourself a deal. You pull on one leg and I'll pull on the udder... err other and by the time we are done with Rich, he'll only have to make two steps to come visit us
My PopPop(grandpa) use to have many sayings also, but there is one that I will never forget:
"Love is like a mason jar. For every jar, there is a perfectly sealed lid."
lol... I done think my lids were either rusty, bent or had no lip to seal
But who knows, this just might finally be my perfect seal. The jury's still out
Crow Woman
Posted by Seldom Ever (Member # 185) on June 01, 2003, 07:46 AM:
Well I'll pray that the jury stays out for ya
,in the meantime you "milk" [pardon the pun] that seal for all it's worth!
Dairy farming must be hard work, but also a fun life, because you are your own boss.
My favorite expression was always "Son,always try to be more of a giver than a taker, you'll feel better about things if you do".
Posted by Crow Woman (Member # 157) on June 01, 2003, 02:02 PM:
SE, I like that saying and what perfect words to live by.
Yes, Dairy Farming is a hard and rewarding life. It can tear a family and marriage apart if you aren't careful. But if that lid feels good despite the changes that people go through, maybe it's not such a bad idea to give it one more try and see if it might possibly fit better this time after it's been cleaned.
I'd kinda like to see the jury stay out indefinitely.

Well, hush my grits. Bein' born in Norfolk, my kin taught me a little geography. Not much, just good enough for porch conversation.
"In 1767 the surveyors had run their line 244 mi (393 km) W from the Delaware border, every fifth milestone bearing the Penn and Calvert arms. The survey was completed to the western limit of Maryland in 1773; in 1779 the line was extended to mark the southern boundary of Pennsylvania with Virginia (the present-day West Virginia)."

Thank You Sly for your compliment. I hope you are equally pleased when you get them. I just want people to remember, these are only my opinions in a huge ocean amongst others. Also, they are MY personal stories, my adventure in this enormous arena of many.
I have been so busy with the newspaper lately. So tonight and tomorrow, I rest and breathe. I have had alot of stone throwing lately. I guess that is why I am trying to make things clear.
So let people throw stones I guess, because, it excercises my legs and makes them look great in a skirt and high heels

Seriously though, the problem with the newspaper is it is only a weekly for the entire county. Therefore, not enough reporters and too much news to be covered with the skeleton crew they do have.

I went to the post office yesterday before I headed out to sing for a few hours and I'd like to report I'm almost half way there.
I don't think I could ever find the words to express my gratitude for the letters and overwhelming kindness you all had to say. Let's just say and you know who you are, my dad was with me yesterday. Thankfully, my make-up is somewhat water proof
I'll be doing some transactions this friday. Hopefully it will be enough to step up the process.
I will say this, if any of you ever want to come to Pennsylvania and hunt, you have a place here. That's the least I can offer in way of my Thanks.
Ya'll got me choked up here and Seldom, I could just hug ya again. Now behave yourself

Plus....we found out that we feel very much the same when it comes to Life, Animals, Earth and God, a true insite most people don't have.
I feel very lucky in a way, I think I'm touching on a part of nature only a few can understand if you know what I mean and I'm sure you do.
What else is there to say Crow Woman? Nature comes from your heart, because we hunt and fish does not mean we don't respect nature, as a matter of fact, we respect it more then others.

I'm still getting back mail from the 3rd and 4th mixed in with todays...lol So I will probably get it tomorrow or in a couple days. I can't thank you all enough for your orders and making me feel welcomed to post here about it. I hope it was at least worth the $10
I just wish I could have added alot more.
