If you are familiar with this type of BBS, you will ntice that I have intentionally turned off a number of features. Are there any that you sincerely miss? There are some things that I want to do, and can't, but I'll live with it.

The worst feature is rating other members with stars, and the first thing I turned off. Another you might have noticed is that there isn't a running total of topics and posts on the forum page. I'm wavering on that one.

Any constructive criticism out there? I'm not looking for Kudos, just the things that may improve the utility of the Board. LB

Too bad, kudos are what you get. Thanks for turning off that childish star rating feature! LOL

I don't pay attention to most of it anyway, especially that sophomoric rating system. I do kinda miss the time of my last visit at the top of the page.

Working great on this end. It's not much of an issue as of yet, but can a search by member name, rather than member number, be an option at some time in the future?

Greenside

Dennis, that is something that bothers me, too. As near as I can tell, at this point, it cannot be done. I guess it's part of what makes this a "Classic" Board? Must be a generic thing, lots of options and features, but beyond that, zero flexibility.

I see no way of creating an archive, either?

Good hunting. LB

Rich, I can't find that feature; time of your last visit? The posts change from red to blue as you read them, maybe that's supposed to suffice?

Good hunting. LB

Hey, welcome to the New Huntmasters, Curt. I see that you went and did, what you told me you were going to do? You must be a very hard man to replace, judging by ....well, never mind.

In any case, that forum has taken a nosedive in stature; from my somewhat prejudicial point of view.

Glad to have you drop in, whenever you can.

Good hunting. LB
