Okay yeah!

He is 12, first year getting drawn youth cow.

This makes your day when the young ones love the sport of hunting and gets to harvest!
I forgot the camera at the cabin though so I didn't get to get a picture till we got back with truck, shame on me!

 -

Here is one to show size a little better:

 -

And he is going to be an official hunter skinner:

 -

He loves calling and trapping so hopefully I have some more pictures real soon. He has harvested trapping but last year he was not fortunate on calling. I did get him some shooting sticks a few weeks ago so maybe that will help him steady up a little.

Thats our future hunters though. I do love to see all pictures but especially love to see the kids.

Thanks for letting me brag. [Smile]

Absolutely, Cindy. No stupid rules on Huntmasters, don't worry about staying on topic.

I'm very jealous, wish my grandson would get a chance like that.

Good hunting. LB

edit: actually, my oldest grandson is hankering to kill a moose, since he just got stationed up in Alaska.

That would be awesome, something we all would like to do. I actually have never ate moose either. I heard it is good but hopefully some day.
It is such a thrill to take the young ones out gives you back all that zest of your first time. For me not that it is ever gone but everytime I see I coyote I get excited.
