My language skills aren't what they could be.
How do you say FMJ, in spanish?
Does BalaPlata mean the same as ChileRojo? Those Az hunters seem to know all the lingo?
Some of these guys are worse than Danny with his different screen names for every day of the week.... 'course; with him, it's because he can't remember his passwords.
Just kidding. LB

Bullet Plate and Red Chile. I know that there is more to this post than this rookie understands, but for what it worth FMJ in Spanish is El FMJ-o. [ August 11, 2003, 10:25 PM: Message edited by: Locohead ]

Okay, I suspect the guy that uses the screen name chile rojo on PM is the same guy that calls himself BalaPlata on Hunt Talk. Like I was able to piece together Turd Furgeson and Chubby Johnson and another more well known dude by the IP address.
I'm a dull unimaginative fellow, always use my real name, everywhere. LB

I was considering the alias screen name, "LocoBrains", so nobody would know it was me!

I'm with you Leonard. I am registered on three or four boards and I guess I figured my real name was good enough. I never could figure out one of those cool screen names. I don't know what I'd have done if I were a trucker and had to come up with a CB handle, or a porn star, I don't think they use their real names either.

12 years ago, when the company I work for started using e-mail, and e-mail was a pretty new thing, we had to use our employee ID's, which were our initials. So, "DAA" (David A. Affleck) is how I signed my first "electronic" communications. Been using it ever since...

I'm not sure I understand, Cal. Do you really want to be a porn star?

When I first signed up for internet chess, I decided on a couple of different names. Every darn name was taken already. I tried both Spanish and English words. Out of frustration, I tried a half English and Half Spanish word. The rest is history.

That chick with the impressive hooters in the skimpy (but patriotic) halter top got a lot of airtime; almost as much as Ahnold.
Got my vote.
Or, A.B.G.D.! ( anybody but Gray Davis)
Good hunting. LB

Leonard, I think I would have made a great porn star, but my wife would probably tell a different story. Crow Woman, You are lucky to get such a good name gifted to you. It could have been something like the old joke about the indian name giving. They were named for the first thing the parents seen, and one in particular was named "two dogs f*&%ing".

Cal, that's the kind of name I'm usually gifted with (very recently in fact). That's why I use this screen name. Besides when I have a slight lapse and can't recall my log-in or screen name I just pull out my drivers license. So far it's been fool-proof.

Old Joke Cal... But still a funny one
I was lucky someone waited till I hit puberty to give me my name just a lil over 10 years ago
Don't misunderstand me, over the past 41 years there are a list of names I have been given

Crow Woman, Are there crow indians back there in PA? I thought they were mostly in Montana. I went to college in Montana and there were alot of crow and blackfeet, and quite a few sioux from the Dakotas that went to school there also. But other than the tribes and reservations that are in WY,SD, and MT, I'm not too familiar with the indians. What tribes are in PA?

Cal, know about the crow and blackfoot tribes. I did some touring and visiting on my trip out west back in 2001 with both.
I'm told I am of Seneca/French Canadian Indian. But am having a heck of a time getting any information before 1920. Need to dig deeper.
My Father's moved on now so there is no one left to get information from. He didn't know much either. There are too many ways names were spelled on different documents. Gets really confusing sometimes. Someday I'll track things down, but not today.
