What is everyone doing? Finally got some heat and things are starting to bloom and grow. Had nothing put problems getting seeds to germinate. So went and bought $60 or so worth of garden plants the other day. Have some seeds in the ground along with spuds and onions.
Our UTV was in the shop for 3 weeks. Mostly waiting on parts or tires. Our main clutch was going out. Only 9500 miles on the CamAm Defender.
Built a new 20'x16' greenhouse. Other half bought a Logosol mill. So been bringing in some logs to play with. That's a wild job handling 8' logs by hand.
Restacked a huge pile of firewood earlier this spring. Just been busy busy.

Busy retirement?
About that UTV. Would you do it again?

Would we buy another UTV? Probably not. Way over priced. Can buy a Roxar jeep cheaper and have a better built suspension.
But the UTV has been fun and kept a lot of miles off the pickup. With no real mechanics here you don't want to beat a vehicle to death up here. We're not mechanics and now we don't get up and down easy and the hands/fingers don't work like they use to. So don't want to do a lot of repairs.

I have a Can-Am defender with tracks, like it alot. It sounds like your belt went out on yours.

We blew the secondary clutch about 1.5 years ago. This spring the primary clutch was making squeaks. So they rebuilt the clutch. Plus new bushings 2 on front and 1 on the back. We have tracks for ours but they are extremely hard on the wear and tear of the front end. Nice to ride in with a heater. Put the new CanAm tires on it. Raised it up a couple of inches and the tires are so much nicer than what we had on it. I think this is the 4th set of tires for it. Instead of driving from the house now we are trailering up to the riding area. Saving the tires and wear and tear on it.

That's a decidedly lukewarm endorsement.
I remember ^ asking if you would buy another one?

Would not buy another CanAm Defender. The belt/clutch is the weak link in these machines.Way over priced for the life of the vehicle.
The Honda Pioneer had a actual transmission with gears. We have the 520 Pioneer and it's a 50" wide trail machine. It's stiff riding we use it more for moving things on the place. We do a little riding in it. But no cab or heater it's a little tuff riding in the winter.
