I sure hope they sue and win a big award. This shit is getting out of hand.
I just saw something else, some chief of police says we should get rid of the Second Amendment!

If they were smoking dope & driving down the road, they got a feel for free. If not, hang the dyke bitch trooper and her sup/partner for violating their thingies.
If you are going to get high, drunk or both stay off the roads and don't endanger anyone else.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the trooper did was witness them discard a cigarette butt. It was their assumption (ass u and me, etc.) that it could have been the remains of a joint. That 's a bit of a stretch to base what effectively amounts to sodomizing someone on the side of the highway. As I stated in the post about my wife's experiences, the definition of probable cause seems to be getting more and more loose all the time. Someone please explain to this poor country boy how littering establishes probable cause sufficiently enough to give law enforcement the authority to stick their fingers up my ass without first taking me into custody?

I'm with you 100%. I think PP is making light of the incident, and given the chance, would also agree that what they (allegedly) did, does not mean they can/should be searched in such an outrageous manor. Personally, I wouldn't allow it and if it came down to pepper spray or a taser, bring it on, they ain't getting this cherry without a fight.

Lance, unless i'm mistaken i recently drove that stretch of road. The speed limit at night is 60mph. There is usually a trooper with radar on every third offramp. It is a speed trap.
With the drought conditions we are going thru, tossing a butt out of the window isn't a smart thing to do and warranted the ticket they got.
Don't give them an inch because they will take a mile. And not too long ago i had an encounter with a super trooper who thought i was out a bit too late not to be ??????. He wanted to search my car, but i declined his offer. Dash cam sometimes is our friend.
If my post sounded offensive too you, I apologize to you and your family. It wasn't my intent to show any disrespect.

The cigarette butts out the window are probable cause for the stop.
The trooper smelled the odor of marijuana, which is probable cause for a search of the vehicle and the search of both female subjects.
The depth of the search? I call BS on the body cavity portion. I don't see that female trooper being able to search the anus or vagina from that angle with clothes on, nor do I think she did at all judging from the reaction of the two females. She was checking the underwear for marijuana.
That having been said, the depth of search at that time and location is not a good practice, and I am surprised it is allowed. Perhaps this hasn't been caught yet by the DPS supervisors, I am thinking. We don't allow our male or female troopers to conduct searches like this on the road, which is a borderline strip search.
Bad practice.

OK, Nick. I'll give you the pc on the cigarette butts, but the smell of marijuana? Sounds a little hinky to me. My son has come home smoking some shitty cigarettes before that smelled awfully damned close and we have a huge alfalfa processing mill in town and when they get that thing fired up, the entire city of Abilene smells like a burning blunt. The women were acting awfully weird? I didn't think so. Just a couple gals that are nervous for having been satopped. It'll be interesting to see how things turn out on this one.
This story was in today's Salina Journal. Folks are kinda upset that this is a town where there has been a recent serious surge in guys walking down the streets at night shooting handguns into peoples' homes and the SPD can't even come up with a suspect. But, they can sure as hell pull chicken shit stunts like this. LOL Like the victims says, they could have done something positive with verbal warnings but that never crossed their minds. All about revenue. Personally, I'd have gottern on my cell phone and passed the word alonmg and had somebody accidentally run Santa down for standing where he shouldn't have been standing. Or, maybe knock him down and shove that portable up his portly ass. Right next to that candy cane.

The newer hydroponic grown marijuana has a very potent odor to it. When it is in the evidence locker you can smell it when you walk by even with the door closed. As far as the girls acting weird, I didn't see it from the point of view of the camera.
Either way I didn't like the searches of those girls and fully agree that procedure has to be stopped.
