Couple of pictures taken yesterday by a calling partner. This set has also accounted for a couple of coyote and one otter!

Thanks for sharing, Dennis. If it wasn't for the white tip of the tail, I'd almost think that looks a bit more like a lynx than a bobcat?
Good hunting. LB

Dennis That looks to be a good sized kitty, with that fury face he does look very lynx like. Very productive set.

Dennis, I saw a cat in North Mo that had that lynx look to it a few years ago. They look nothing like our bobcats here.
Do you know if they are a different sub species? Just curious.
Good pics.

Looks all bobcat to me? It looks more like our western cats than the flater southern types? I'm wondering if alot of you cats don't come from nebraska as well as from the south? What kind of dollars have your Iowa cats been bringing just curious compaired to our westerns?

Whacker
I really don't know anyone that sold one from IA's first ever season. I assume most were kept as trophies. From what I've read in the market reports, I'm quessing they might be worth sixty or so dollar. Andy or Rshaw might have an idea of what some of those MO cat's are bringing? Probably get the same here.
I assume most of the cats around here probably moved in from NW Mo. by the way of KS and NB. I know the population is supposedly higher in the Southwest and southcentral parts of IA than in my area. Dennis
