Good going. Thanks for sharing.
Not being critical, just an observation. Kansas bobcats appear to be quite small compared to what we normally see, out here?
Good hunting. LB

Very nice, seeinspots. I still have 10 days to catch you. I'm at 20, and we get till the end of the month.

Nice pile of fur .
Iowa is considering having limited Bobcat harvesting. Wished they were thick around here. There's a few.

Wow, Kent,
You must have really hit the mother lode since the last time we talked. The local game warden finished out with 34 'cats, his best year ever. I've heard of several guys that hit near or over thirty on the year, but they were trapping hard and every day of the season.
Matt and I managed to grab a pic (not a very good one) of our fur pile tonight before we locked them down in a freezer we shut off just to keep them from freezing hard as a rock before morning (near "0" tonight, you know it's cold when you put your raw furs in an insulated box to protect them from the cold outside).

We ended up with 29 coyotes (of which roughly 18 are sellable), 6 bobcats, 28 coons, 3 badgers, 5 beavers, 1 muskrat and roughly 426,172 skunks (not skinning them). Had a really good year, all things considered. Now we just hope to make a few bucks back tomorrow at fur auction. [ February 17, 2006, 07:03 PM: Message edited by: Cdog911 ]
