Hound hunters treed 9 cats within 100 sq. miles since opening day 1/1/05. That's a 10 mile x 10 mile area. GOOD JOB PETA !

Maybe we should have Krusty run up there with some calls and thin them out a little?

Tim,
The Game Dept. screwed us boot hunters out of killing lions here in 5 counties. Only the people with dogs can kill them after they get special hunt permits. All the people that got permits are from the Seattle area that I talked to. Pisses alot of locals off. The nearest area for us to the cull them thar cats is 100 + miles away in wheat country.

Tim,
The area they are issuing special permits in is a long long ways from me.
And as GUTPILE says the permits are for hound hunting.
I did not know that prohibited non hound hunters from calling for lions though.
I have a friend that has property over that way, and have been there to call a few times.
When we have to depend on me for thinning the population of anything but Mt Dew cans we're in deep deep trouble.

Krusty,
You can call them, but not cull them. Saw one yesterday at 12:15 pm. Told the hound hunters, and today they were looking for their dogs they let loose on it.

They got another Cat Saturday. Female: season is done. Seeing alot of Bobcats though. This weekend I'll try to get one along with a coyote. Coyotes are being seen all over the place while us truck drivers are working....never fails!
