Here's a big tom I took the other day. I need to get a scale, but I know this cat was well over 30 lbs.

That's another goodlooking cat. I took one this Sat. that I guessed the weight at 60 - 70 lbs. , after lugging it a half mile back to the truck.

Great looking tom Cal. Is he the one in the live picture?

Nope, Brad, different cat. The big cat was hind footed and not caught that well so I didn't mess around with pics till he was dispatched. But along the same lines, I made an awesome save today. As I was pulling up to a set I seen a cat leaving at a high rate of speed, so I bailed with my rifle and rolled him. Turns out I had him hind footed and by two toes (which were still in the trap) and as I pulled up he gave one last final fight and pulled out. But I just got done sewing up a hole and putting him on a stretcher.

Cal, how much pan tension do you use? I had few toe catches after I went to 3#.I got my biggest ever last year, looked like that one. T.20
