I hunted with a buddy near Robert Lee, Texas this weekend. I called in three bobcats and the third one was a dandy. He tipped the scales at just over 30lbs. This is the largest bobcat I have called in. The first photo is Jay, my calling partner, and the second is yours truly.

Thanks guys! I called the three cats in this weekend with a, dare I say it, WT caller. All of them were called between 9:00 AM and Noon using both a cotton tail and a fleming hare sound. Both of us were shooting 22-250's. Jay was using 55gr. V-Max and I was using 50gr. BT's. The big guy came strutting right in like a cat with a mission. The other two did the stalking thing. Jay manages a lot of hunting leases in west Texas and we were calling around his appointments to show leases to hunters. It was good to get away from the city for the weekend.

The ole WT does call a cat once in a while, doesn't it Bob? And you can call them anytime of day, cant you. Nice bobcats and good job!

Hey Steve,
I was using the "Steve Craig Technique" you taught me with the WT across the hill. If I remember correctly, you and I called in 8 bobcats, 22 grey fox, and one lion over four days doing it that way and calling during the day.

Dont go telling these guys how many cats I call! LOL It took me a long time to get them to believe I'm a liar! Everyone knows that calling 17 lions in a year, or 19 or 25 is just down right IMPOSSIBLE! Especially when you take out 35 to 40 client/students each year. According to an individual on the PMS board, I'm just a WT yes man, with exaggerated claims, and no proof. You and I know different, dont we? So do my students. There is a guy in Ks. that has taken 80 to over a hundred bobcats each year with his WT. using my so-called "methods". This year those Kansas cats averaged $120 each.He also called and shot a Leopard in Africa too. It works anywhere. Looks like you got the hang of it, so just keep on keepin' on. If you didnt kill the female, you can go back to that area and call another male or two real quick. Good luck! Keep in touch.

Rather than a brief mention of technique, bust lose with a description, no inside stuff allowed here guys:) Real nice cat Bob, any time you nail one that hovers around the 25-30 pound mark, you got a nice cat! We better see a photo of a nice rug in about three months!

Hey Steve, I don't think your a shill, just an enthusiastic supporter. Im a member of the club too, been using one for three years now, and am throughly convinced it has increased my ability to consistently call more predators to the gun.Ive never been to concerned with the social skills, or lack of them concerning the owner of the company, his product goes in the field with me, not him:)
