Question: To those that have them, do they, or do they not, leave ring marks on a scope. I've read that some guys have had problems, like having to shove the scope down into the bottom ring, "snapping" it into place, stuff like that.
Is it that tight of a fit?
Talking 1" scope here.

Pretty much all I use on bolt guns and the only time I've had one leave a mark is after I lapped it.
I no longer lap them but really don't worry about marks or scratches on my equipment. Dents of course are another matter and I suggest you follow Talley's torque specs of 15 inch pounds, well I go 20 but there's just no need to get em farmer tight.
