I found one today but don't know much about them. I've seen a couple of the Tikka hunters that shot good and have owned 3 or 4 Sako's but never payed much attention to the T3. So for a cheaper gun how are they? This ones in .308 win btw.

I've got two - a blue .243 and a stainless .22-250. They both look kinda cheap - but shoot really well. Check Bud's Guns for the best price before you buy.

I have three .223's .Sav. Rem and Tikka. The Tikka outshoots them all by a wide margin. I don't know about .308, but in .223 their the best.I have the hunter(wood, blue) And am very happy with it.

A few years ago I had a stainless Tikka T3 Lite in 25-06. Never really shot it much. I did try the Serria 100 grain match bullet in it with 54 grains of H4831SC. I shot 5, 3 shots groups under an inch and most were in the 1/2" range. Which is nothing less than outstanding in a plastic stocked factory rifle. I sold the rifle as there were a few things about it I didn't like. The recoil lug configuration, and the scope mounting straight dovetail.

Thanks guys, I decided to pass on this one. Something about it I just couldn't get over, oh ya, the price! Either I misunderstood him or he went up on it but it was too much for me. Didn't really need another .308 anyway.
