we i go again,i got a line on a ruger 204 syn,ss lightweight,bedded and floated,with a timmey trigger, and a set of dies for 400.00 the guy sent me the pics of the gun and the groups it shot,,i have a heavy barrel 22-250 but would like the lighter weight when hunting yoties in the winter here,ok guys let me have it,,,,,lmao,,

Sounds like a righteous deal to me? If your happy with the groups claimed, and condition of the rifle, I'd probably snatch it up too.
Rugers get a bad rap here and there, but Ive had many, and got several that shoot just as good as any of my Remingtons.
Wished I still had my Ruger hornet, that little rifle was a consistent sub inch grouper, and shot the light 35 grain Hornady v-max into several 1/2 inch groupings.....great rifle.
Im with you Fooge, I prefer light handy rifles for calling, and leave the heavy weights for shooting stuff off a bench.

Yeah, if you are looking for approval, sounds like a fair bargain, to me.
The cartridge itself? Not as versatile as a 22-250, but (with the right bullet) should handle coyotes at moderate ranges.
