Ryan, I'm diggin' the hell outta my set!
That smaller pocket blade is the titz for field dressing and light duty cutting chores...
 -

This is the kicker, crazeee lightweight!
The larger of the two...
 -

The set...
 -

For the mathematically challenged, that smaller blade is only 2.1 oz., WITH sheath and short length of 550 keeper cord!!!
Ryan really hit one outta the park with these bitches..

This is kinda secret stuff! I had no idea we had this talent on Huntmasters and it's about time we found out about it.

Now, a bit of opinion. I have looked at skeletonized BLADES with puzzlement for a long time. I fail to see the advantage. This is, however, a different version, no scales. I'm sort of traditional in that I believe a handle on a knife serves a purpose.

So, for those of us that like the feel of a full hand, I suppose it's one of those personal preference things, more than a cool look?

No doubt, it reduces the question to function in the extreme, do we need a handle on a knife? I have a custom knife that I specifically asked for slab sides, no rounded contoured and slippery surfaces, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I see lots of non slip cutouts in the above photos, but is this an improvement over what a knife looks like, as far as the form follows function theory?

I don't know what I'm talking about, not really much of a knife guy? Anybody see what I'm talking about? It's like, if a Triathelete had to run and swim a hundred miles, then skin a deer, then weight saving is a consideration. Otherwise, what?

Good hunting. El Bee

PS again: beautiful, well made knives, I am not knocking the execution, whatsoever.

edit: and BTW, I favor the caper drop point.

That bottom knife, the one you made for your dad, is my idea of a perfect folder. Form, follows function, and you nailed it with that one. It's obvious you have a high degree of skill, as well as fine attention to detail and taste...really nice work.
