I might buy me some Crit R Call CD,s."Calls for American Predators" CD. "African Sounds for calling American Predators" CD. "Talking to Bobcats & Red Fox" Cd.
The thing I could use some help on is there any one out there that have any of these or have had a chance to here any of them.
How would any of you rate them for sound as in are they clear? Are they full of noise? Are they just about as good as Johnny Stewart are any of the Burnham stuff thats out there.
Also I would like to get a few leads on any outlets where I could find a few tapes to buy.

Tim I have 22 casette tapes on hand if you look on the Minaska site in there for sale or trade slot you can find a list of what I have on hand.
I do have 12 other tapes on hand that I will not trade. Those ones came in the mail from a guy from out California way.
I do have a few good tapes on hand.
Nine Dennis Kirk tapes Six of them are good sounds the rest just plain suck.
DKP-105 Call Shy Special
DKP-102 Gray Fox Pup
DKP-115 Gray Fox Special
DKP-116 Coyote Pup Distress
Those are all real good sounds. and I have Gravelly Voice Rabbit and Crying Jack Rabbit that are OK.
Burnham
I have seven of them on hand all the Burnham tapes a good ones.
CC#96 Juvenile Javelina Squealing
CC#19 Quail Distress Cries
As well as some Rabbits sounds.
CC#96 is more than just for pigs a guy can use it as a stock sound Or change the pitch onit alittle.
Jonny Stewart
I have four good Johnny Stewart rabbit sounds. I,m sure they are the same one most all predator callers have on hand.
I do have one TN-502C Adult Jackrabbit Distress. It's from StewartOutdoors/True Nature Sounds. And this is a kick ass sound.
Modern Call Products
Jack Rabbit tape
Cottontail Tape
Two good sounds.
If any needs to learn how to blow a hand call those last two tapes I spoke of would be the ones to have.
Tim I guess I would like any kind of brand. as for sounds I could go for some rodents, pigs or piglets, bear cub, gray fox, birds. In short just about any thing.
I just like to fix souds up for my on persoal use,it's just somthing I find rewarding at this place and time in life is all.

Cayotaytalker ,

What you need now is a TA17Rem CD, then you would have the latest and greatest. If you get one, please let us know if it includes instruction on proper use of a bucket head kit. [Big Grin]

Rich,

I'm thinking Cayotaytalker and TA17rem might be related, same daddy just different momma?

Definite possibility they went to the same school... or at least rode the same short bus getting there!

Nikonut, I,am fuctional illiterate. And yes I can not write for shit.So if you feel the need to poke alittle fun at me I can handle that.
Nikonut, it was not so long ago I had to put my mom and dad in the ground. So I find the father and mother comments not only out of line but they are hurtfull to me.
Other than that things are cool.
Thank you.
Edit was to fix a few words

I do not believe that Major Boddicker would market any second rate merchandise. After speaking with him at a Colorado Trapper Association event, I would not hesitate to purchase any of the products that he markets. Call or email Crit R Calls and have your questions answered by the people who are making the calls and cd's. Their web-site has all the contact information. [Wink]

Sorry to hear about your folks Cayotaytalker...

That was a more than a bit rude on my part. I went through the same a few years ago myself. Please accept my apology.

As for being illiterate, I doubt it. I'm guessing you just need to learn to use a spellchecker! That doesn't even hold a candle to Tim! [Razz] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Cayotaydude;
What Doug said, and, you might want to check out EBay under 'predator call'. There are usually tapes & cd's offered there at decent prices.

While on the subject of EBay, Tony Tebbe has some calls offered and the ads have a You Tube video with Tony giving calling instructions. I know that some of the folks here are huge fans.......

TT has been busy this year and has come out with a few DVD's. He has a calling DVD out along with a decoy dog DVD ( training kill dogs).. TT also is buying up dogs that he hand picks himself and is training them and then will put up for sale as well or if you already have a dog he will take it in and train.. Just a matter of time and TT will also have a school for ADC trappers...LOL

Edit to add.. Someone should start up a coyote shooting school, God knows TT and his clients could use it..LOL
