Fellows, here is another use I like for the camera tripod I use a lot. I found a male coupling at Lowe's that works with my quick connect coupling mounted on my tripod, and found a 3" brass 1/4" x 20 bolt that matches the threads on the Jack Attack. Ground the head off the bolt just enough for it to fit inside the male coupling, and mounted it in a bed of Loctite Weld, and it screws in perfectly into the Jack Attack where the steel stake normally screws in. This way I have a quick connect for the decoy even if the ground is frozen solid, and I can easily adjust it to any height I want, with the ecaller hung directly under it. It is pictured with a Firestorm I have been field testing in one picture, and with the Yoter's Den deployment bag for my CS-24 and extra TOA speaker. Being able to level it and make it the height I want real quick is a good thing, IMO. Other decoys can be made to fit the same way. I have the Mojo Crow fixed to mount this way too and the El-Man hawk also for a good crow shooting setup.

LOL Jerry..... Its funny to see all the stuff some guys carry to a stand to be successful....
They should maybe think about investing in a dog or Lama with packs to carry all that stuff.. [Wink]

Tim, the man is trying to be helpful, just like you, and how do you feel when someone rudely belittles your submissions?

Good hunting. El Bee

No apologies needed, fellows. Different strokes for different folks applies, I suppose. This particular illustration works awfully well in thick cover while hunting bobcat or coyote when you feel you need to get the decoy up off the ground. April of Yoter's Den made my CS-24 deployment bag with two quick detach straps on the bottom to carry the tripod, so it is handy if you need it. Regardless of the terrain, you can always present a decoy, hang your ecaller up off the ground, or both.

I have been making fun of the Possum and all of his excess equipment for a long time now. I have even suggested that he should use a wheel barrow to haul all of that stuff to his stand. He pay's no attention to me, just keeps carrying more and more stuff out there and keeps on killing coyotes. He has killed a heck of a lot of coyotes this year, so I guess he must be doing something right [Big Grin]

Heck Rich, I tried your wheelbarrow suggestion, but I couldn't get it started. Must be a bad battery (lol). It can't beat an ATV anyway. Wish I still had mine.

Possum,
You know that you should invest in a wheelbarrow. The wheelbarrow was originally invented for the purpose of training an Okie to walk on his hind legs, and many other uses have been found for the lowly wheelbarrow since that time. You could well be the first to use one for hauling all of that useless crap out to your calling stands. [Big Grin]
