I found this on another site.

You decide what you think.

A Sad Goodbye

It is a little down the page under, A sad goodbye.

He says he also got banned from PMS website because of FP, and a few other blogs on his page are interesting.

Yes Dan I read that on his blog seems like he got the shaft. I dont understand tactics like that I know bussiness is bussiness but,They seem to have an overwhelming fear of any competition. The way the Higgins deal was handled among others make me wonder about the long term wisdom of their decision making. They are a good strong company and have an excellent product and customer service reputation you would think that chickenshit tactics are not necessary let the market be the market and your product stand on its own.

Well now, me being a long standing FP leghumper or cheerleader, whichever you prefer. I don't believe for one minute that the Dillons had much to do with starting the fuss the ended up with him being run off. Damn that was simple to say.

I really don't know much about Rich's deal but I believe it was the people running PM and not the Dillions. Could be wrong.

I do know I didn't get a booth and go to the Expo due to Barry and the boys(and dog)being partnered there and Rich getting dropped from the program!

I was afraid I wouldn't have been able to control my anger. I do think Rich got shafted... really shafted! By whom, I'm just not sure. [Mad]

I found Dr.Crawley's posts informational more than confrontational, guess that is a fine line with some.

You may be correct, Dan. I know that Dr. Shawley has his own issues. But the inference after reading his take doesnt sound like he was fairly treated.I have not heard any other side of this deal.Nor have I investigated.

Well, me not being a cheerleader for anyone, I think its total bullshit. Foxpro is slowly but surely taking over the predator world. Anytime you get someone with a monopoly that can control everything from websites, magazines, tv shows and sell overwhelmingly more calls than anyone else, it is not good. It wont be long til they will buy a gun company, camo company, ect.. and control it all completely.

If I could turn back time, I most likely would have bought a Minaska or WT for my $600. Not saying its not a good unit, but shit like this pisses me off.

It really has nothing to do with the guy himself, I dont know who he is, or PX, I think its a bullshit magazine for the most part. Just put it this way. Dillons want to rule the world.

Kelly, just dont let em have the damn bucket too. Hold on to that thing with your life. That may be our last holdout.

It has never been about the product.

Bill Martz is a little wacko, but I have always said his caller is top notch.

Then we have Foxpro. Good solid product, good research, innovative design, and completely ruthless business practices.

Minaska? Who knows, who cares?

Then, there is the rest. <yawn>

Higgins mistreated? Again? I see a pattern. <yawn>

Good hunting. LB

Higgins was mistreated by bent rube and the expo people.

Bill has always said, his coyote vocalizations would call a coyote better than anyone else's distress sounds. Well now years later all the big shots are telling us that's how to call them in. Don't mess with the money machines.

Where is the wacko desert blossom? or was it sage hen?

Yeah, that's the guy. kill'em at night and take the picture in the morning. spends his days just riding the highways looking for road kill.

The Dillon's are good, honest people. They ain't perfect, but I don't know anyone who IS. Ruthless business practices? Horse Shit, they are in the business to make money. I don't know of any successful business that is in business to lose money. They wouldn't be in business very long that way.

I'm taking up a collection of Fox Pro callers, preferably the newer ones to send back to FP in protest. Please pack them carefully and send them to me, the more the better.

Figured if ya'll believe this nonsense you might believe that too...

The name of the game is marketing. FP invested in upgrading their callers and sounds, along with customer service and of course a good business strategy, anyone who gets their feelings hurt claims an attack from the FP mafia.

Somewhere in all this you have to ask, who's playing who?

Dan,
My 2 cents aren't worth much but try contacting the promoters of the world hunt and listen to what they might have to say... or not. If I were them I would keep the info confidential. It's a blog and this guy is promoting himself. Why would he blog anything negative?

Actually you're reading a sugar coated "I'm a victim of some mean ol people".

edit: Had to answer the front door. Anyway, I read through it and this guy seems to be the type that hides his angel wings behind an overcoat. Yeah right. It wasn't his fault being banned from PM either was it? You don't suppose it might have anything to do with is attitude do you?

Not busting your chops Dan but as angelic as I am I've been banned from PM more than once and had a time-out over here. In all cases it was because I got cross-ways with those that run the board.

You might not have noticed but FP has been growing and climbing a ladder. Doing good too. They have not posted much lately anywhere. That's because it useless butting heads with internet heroes. Kinda like trying to reason with an ex-wife.

They (FP) certainly weren't calling the shots over on PM. Other people got crossways with mgmt. In all cases (includng me) they were warned. Evenso FP has been the biggest supporters and promoters of the predator calling sport. Most every calling event down to the hard luck somebody stole my FOXPRO case has had the support from FP. Clubs tsunami them constantly for product donations and FP delivers.

So did the Doc do something or not? I'll place my money on FP. The Doc seems to be one of those rare individuals that can do no wrong.

To coin a phrase "Again? I see a pattern. <yawn>"

What was Doc's screen name on PMS?

Yeah, I am also a little puzzled, Dennis. Too much "code" talk, the whole thread.

I'm guessing he is refering to Higgins, but I have no idea where Jay came up with Doc?

Good huntig. LB

No code talk intended.

Doc? That would be Dr. Charles R. Shawley
Upper right corner of the link page.
I was referring to the World Hunt from last year when the tragic chain of events supposedly started.

Don't remember the names used over on PM.
If memory serves me I think he got bounced and then reregistered under a different name and got re-bounced.

I have no clue why RH was tied into this thread topic along with Rueb and FP. Doesn't make sense.

Jay
I think the good Doctor brought FP into it in his blog. However it seems like a pm /shawley issue really. A lot of nothing!

We might have to qualify certain peeps, including your's truly, before allowing them to read some stuff? A snap quiz, definitions, brain teasers, general knowledge, a little math?

All in favor, please raise your hand.

Good hunting. LB

I know nothing about the World and the Doctor, can somebody give me a short explain?

Was that posted in one of the threads on PM? Or is that inside information from one of the mod's? Hell. I thought they took an oath of secrecy.

Never read any of this guy's stuff before and really discount most things along these lines.

From his blog - What does the ICC have to do with a predator call? Last account I had the ICC was the Interstate Commerce Commission and dealt with commercial cartage - 18 wheelers, semi's and shit.

FCC maybe, that organization has all kinds of rules and reg's that have to be complied with by a manufacturer of electronics equipment. Especially those with digital circuitry and remote controls and such. Kinda rusty here though, its been a couple of years since I played the regulatory compliance part. ICC could be the gawdaweful regulatory body now, for all I know.

A late change in my day was that CSA became IC, as in Industry Canada - minus a "C", and they would certainly regulate calls with digital circuitry and RF remotes, but that ain't ICC and this guy wants to be an authority....

"If memory serves me I think he got bounced and then reregistered under a different name and got re-bounced."

They claim they have over 30 thousand members. That is a lie. I know because I'm over a hundred of them. Everyone that has been banned has re-registered at least once. pussgut had several names, one of them should have been pussgut.

Posted by Dan Carey (Member # 987) on September 30, 2010, 02:37 PM:

There was some talk a while back they didn't have FCC approval on their remote control. Who knows the truth, furthermore who really gives a shit.

Bill Martz had one of the best remote controls years back until some son of a bitch turned him into the FCC. You can always depend on your brother hunter to screw you if he can. That's where these Internet hero's come from.

Dan, you took the time to register 100 memberships at PM? That's serious motivation, Amigo. A worthy and dedicated enemy, for sure.

Say? How many screen names do you have, here at HM? Approximately. Just curious? First, lie to me, then fess up, okay?

Good hunting. ElBee

I only have one here, never felt the need to have more.

The way to have more than 1 account over at pms (predator masters sucks) was posted for all to see and use at the real PM (Predator Monster) site. It was a hit from the start and we used it almost daily to register new accounts at pms. Not much of a problem to use it. You just pick the city and it would provide the IP address. automatically. Great fun. The Email addresses were pretty comical. such as juan1234@yahoo.com the next would be juan2345@yahoo.com and so on. pussgut never caught on, how dumb is that.

That is funny Dan!

Not trying to derail this but...

Some of us did catch on. Redfrog just couldn't keep up with the registrations. I often pressed for a certified registration process and a recount of actual members... you can only imagine what grief that caused me!!! The answer was always, "No way!Don't even ask again" They have no where near the member count, especially active members.

There is also an "Auto OK"(don't remember what it was called)feature in the software that would allow unsupervised registrations. When in that mode anyone could get registered and many did, like viagra@hardon.com. [Razz] [Razz]
