That's a nice one. Great color. The brown horns have always had more curb appeal, to me, than the darker horns.

Rich,
That's a real beauty. What makes that call different from a coyote call? What is the difference with the sound board you make for a wolf howler and a coyote howler. Is the horn longer?

Ninth,
The above wolf howler is 13" long when measured in a straight line. The wolf being a larger animal than a coyote, it's voice is more like that of a large dog. It takes a larger horn to get the wolf sound, but I believe I could have cut the above howler an inch or so shorter and still been OK. The wolf makes a lot of those long, drawn out howls so I design the air groove under the reed more narrow. The hole I drill from front of air groove to inner part of horn is only about 1/4" diameter. The air groove and the small hole in front of said air groove causes somewhat of a restriction that allows you to blow the long howls before your lungs run out of air. Clear as mud? [Cool]
