I saw this add and i'm convinced i just have to have one and i'm going to burn all my other calls.. LOL
Add: TT - New call design...."TT - Starved Starling"
I took this call design and tested in Texas on fox, cats, coon, and even ringtails a couple weeks ago. It was absolutely deadly on all four. We were calling in tight cover and had them absolutely convinced, as they trying crawing up in our laps. After calling up over 140 animals with it, ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif) ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

Maybe if you attend PU for a semester Tim, they will wrap your diploma with one of those calls? I understand there is also another killer call in the wings at PU called the "Choked Chicken",a bit raspier and with more growl than the starving starling, but requiring more aggressive hand movement to operate at optimum efficency.

I have no need for the starved starling call.But i feal i could run the choked chicken.But about the time i call up a predator,dare i say i feal i would be caught with my pants down. I have no reason to like or dislike TT i just thought there was a joke here is all.I also heard the choked chicken only works 30 secounds at a time.

Your on track Talker; the "choked chicken" call is somewhat age sensitive. In younger hands,it has the ability to stiff it out thru longer sequences. Used by more advanced and mature callers, the sequences will be somewehat abbreviated,and even avail themselves to a softer,more subdued tone.

Deceptive advertising! What they don't tell you is that the test stands were done in the past few weeks and that 139 of the animals called in were skeeters. I demand a recount!

I talked to Tony at the expo. and he told me, and I forget the exact number, but they averaged calling in something like 17 or 27 grey fox per night. SO, add in a few cats, some coon and coyotes, and it wouldn't take long to call in that many critters. Tony makes some nice sounding and nice looking calls, don't know why so many have a boner out for him. The guy is chasing a dream of his, but it seems that there are plenty that are either jealous or envious. If he makes it work, I guess he'll have the last laugh!

If it makes it easier to make bird shrills, no matter what species, I wouldnt mind having one. I have a hard time fluttering my tounge to make the sounds right from my AP6.
I may check into getting one....

Try looking in custom calls on PM..
I suppose it could be possable to call that many critters in on a short time but there is'nt anyone else doing it that i know of...
One more trip and that should put TT over his total for last year.. Believe what you want but i'm not buying it... ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

Kokopelli, in the hill country where they are hunting the coyotes are few and far between. That is why the gray fox are like lice in many areas. If you have ever called gray fox you will quickly realize that there is no animal on the planet that is easier to call if they are there. I know of a couple guys in TX that trap over 400 a season and they are trapping in lower densities around Alpine. It is possible to call that many predators in a short time in the right areas.
Seventeen to 27 a night!!! Dang Randy!! Looks like we are going to have to move our operation East!!! LOL

Q; Yeah, I've called and trapped a few gray fox. Neat critters, but I'm glad that they don't stand about 4 feet at the shoulders. Lotta fight in that little dog.
I just found the numbers a bit unusual......all of the fox & bobcat areas I've hunted also held some coyotes.

Ok, I snuck in the back door over at P.M. to check out the call. Nice looking call and my high tech. Web T.V. even was able to play the sound file. Good sounding call. I may consider getting one when he gets some more made.
