I think it was Tim Behle that gave a website for uploading sound bites so you can post them on the net, anybody remember where it's at or how to do it?

I like to use http://www.putfile.com

Edit:

It works the same as uploading pictures, only putfile will let you use sounds or videos.

I recorded that sound a few years ago and my wife had it made into a custom teaser for trapping. I'd bury the teaser just below ground level, then place a cage trap over it with the teaser under the pan.

It kicked butt on Kit Fox, till one night I didn't get a replacement trap over it. A fox dug it up and stole it that night. [Frown]

If you call the coyotes in close, you won't NEED a high dollar range finder.

Ok, so how do you make a link for the sound to be copied like over on www.varmintal.com under his coyote calling section?

Putfile/putstuff will probably work for what we're wanting but I would like to be able to link a sound if I could.

TOM64,
I went to www.putfle.com a little bit ago. After I registered for a free video and photo hosting account and logged in, it showed me a place to click on so I can upload sound bitesfrom my own computer. It also gives you the URL address to copy and paste on to a board like this one.

TOM64 - "Ok, so how do you make a link for the sound to be copied like over on www.varmintal.com under his coyote calling section?"

Rich just explained the best (easiest) way to do it, I think. Just post a link to the sound after you upload it. varmintal.com hosts his own sounds on his website; pretty much the same way you would do it from putfile for free...he just got a bit more fancy and included a nice little icon to click on that takes you to said link.

Hey, seems to me this would be a great thread for everyone to post their own rendition of the now famous estrous chirp? That could really turn into some fun. [Smile]

I figured there was more to it than I needed to try but you never know till you ask.

Putfile will work just fine, thanks again.
