Does anyone really know why a coyote will respond to the sound of a siren?

Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take
an ass kickin'.

Oh haha. In defense of the noble coyote, I'm offended at the suggestion (even in jest) that they may be "part" ambulance chasing, scum of the earth, lawyer.

I try to run a respectable joint here. Please!

Good hunting. LB

Well I found 3 siren sounds on foxpro's website, one of them is Cal's. 16 sounds for $25.00 sounds fair enough to me just got to pick out 15 more. I guess it's alright to play them on a Minaska caller?

I use Cal's siren sound for locating quite a bit and it has worked very well especially with both speakers on for the added volume.

Tom64,you can't put the foxpro sounds on the Minaska caller,at least I didn't think you could.

if you can get the sounds down loaded from the fox-pro into youre computer then you can put them in the Minaska bandit. I have almost two hundred sounds to play with in my big country.

An emergency siren on "wail" feature. Gets them to howl around here.

Yrs ago, my Dad & his Bud's went to Nebraska with their sighthounds. They meet some other coyote hunters. Those guys used an old hand-crank roller siren, to locate coyotes.

I called Foxpro this morning and according to them you can't buy the sounds from them and change them to MP3 format, they are their own format and won't work on other callers.
