I've been away from calling for a while but yesterday I dug out my JS Power Pro again.

I had used it a fair bit in the past and had some success with it but it often seemed to have functional issues that I was blaming on the MP3 or Azden wireless.

Somehow, in storage, the main power switch fell apart. In playing with it, I could still get it to make connection and there was some sound. I found a switch that was similar and replaced the broken one. Now, there is no sound what-so-ever. Not that there was much when I was fooling with the bad switch but there was some.

It seems when the switch is pressed on there is a brief moment of good volume, then nothing.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should be looking to solve this problem?

I'm sure the Power Pro is old technology now but I would like to give it a try again.

What I mignt do is take a look at the contacts on the speaker plug. They might be coroded.

Also check if the battery is fully charged.

I found that on the two power pro units I had that the cables that plug the amp into the battery and the amp to the mp3 player were weak spots. I actually had the connector on the battery fall out on a hunt once. Broke righ off.

First thing I would check is the battery and cables then the connector for the speaker plug in the amp.

You could always call Hunters Specialties too and ask them.
