A buddy of mine is looking to make his "own" mouth calls and was looking for a place to buy reeds, inserts, and other parts that are necessary. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Brandon

Brandon,
Reeds and sleeves can be found at All Predator Calls the assortmant pack is probably the best way to go.
For open reed calls, the SB1 mouthpieces (that many call makers use) can be purchased from Steve Barbour (aka Willeketchum on the boards). Mylar for open reeds can be found at a few sources. All Predator Calls markets a smaple pack put together by CritR Calls (it's a good way to learn by trying a lot of very different materials). Lee Smith (aka Yellerdog) offers larger sheets of the tan mylar, his ad is here. . I also sell reed materials in several different types, and I also do a free sample pack to get guys started (3"x6" sheets of four different materials, some in two thicknesses). One of you guys send me a shipping address, and I'll send it out.
If there's anything else, I can help with, let me know.

P.S. AL, I didn't know you sold reeds five at a time? I'll keep that in mind, for the next time I am asked. [ January 28, 2006, 02:34 PM: Message edited by: Krustyklimber ]
