Maybe someone can help with this.
My setup
Radio shack 25 watt horn
Nady 151 receiver
Nady 151 transmitter
Rio 800 mp3s player
My problem is that with the Rio I get alot of noise or hum. Ive used other mp3 players and CD players and have almost no hum. I bought the rio 800 because the other units belong to my sons and it seems everyone on Predator masters is using the Rio. Any idea what might cause this? The Rio sounds fine with headphone alone.

Since your Nady transmitter is mono, and your Rio is stereo, you might want to try a 3.5mm stereo to mono adapter. Don't know the part # offhand, but this should be cheap and readily available at any Radio Shack. (Didn't need one of these with my Pogo MP3, but you might.)
Also, make sure you're using the shielded patch cable that came with your Nady for the link between the headphone jack of the Rio and the mic input of the transmitter.
Finally, have you adjusted the trim pots of the Nady Tx and Rx?
Other than that, try another MP3 device. From what I've gathered, the discontinued Rio 800 had a couple of versions--unfortunately one of them was very buggy (pity, this otherwise interesting device was one of the few earlier units that also recorded directly?).

I'll get a stereo to mono part at RS today and give that a try.
I am using the NADY patch cord and I tried several others.
Didnt adjust any trim pots, probably because I dint completely read the manual. I'll look into that as well.
I like the Rio 800 as far as functionality and it fits the hand well.

I'm sure you tried this , did you turn the volume down to a lower level? The ones I have tested that use a AAA battery have this problem, I switched to one that uses a AA battery and did not have the hum. The rio's that I am using are the older ones , seam to have better volume and more power, you could try using an amp and backing off the volume to about 1/2 , I am not using Nady wireless so this may not help.
