I would like to film some of my coyote hunts here in the east.Would like to know what you guys are using.I would also like to know if the adventure cam would be a good thing to have along with the digital cam.
I would like to stay under 1k if possible.I noticed the adventure cams can zoom in now and are under 500.00. Thanks for the advice in advance.

I'm not familiar with the camera you mention. Sorry.
What sort of camcorder you use is kind of dependent upon what you plan to do with it. If you are going to go into the movie making business, then the sky's the limit on what kind of camera you buy. You can spend a lot of money.
If you are going out to get some video for your own use, then any number of the smaller cam corders will work for you.
I've tried several different types and keep going back to Sony. For me, they are easy to use and always give a good product.
There's a lot to know about cameras. You'd got a lot of research to do. Good luck.

I have never owned a video cam before.I have been reading the world wide web and I have found there is a whole lot to choose from.So many choices and options there seems to be no end.
I would like one that will do well in low light and will hold up to dragging it around in the woods.I would also like it to take good video for DVD to make for my friends.
The adventure cam is the little bullet cam you plug into the video cam.You can hook it to your gun or hat or what ever.It also picks up sound,the first ones I saw years ago were not so clear.I have been reading where they are water proof and have a zoom feature now.I thought this would work well while filming alone.
The biggest reason I wanted to do this was to make a film for my son in FLA to help teach him more about coyote hunting and ADC work.Finding travel routes dens ETC.
Thanks for any sugestions to help narrow my search.

Plumbrich, do a little search and you can find a Panasonic 3chip for less than a grand. Can't beat that. I have an adventure cam, costs about 450 but you still have to have a digital camcorder to record to. So you're still looking at a grand for single chip tape quality.
