Howdy Guys, I just got on-board yesterday, been away from shooting awhile.Knocking the dust off my old Rem.bdl 700's.[22-250&25-06]
I like what I read about the Wildlife Tech.caller, although it seems a little pricey.
Do any of you guys use it or have any first hand knowledge about it??

I've hunted over WT callers quite a few times. The older backpack type model. Haven't seen the newer one in use. The ones I've had experience with are awesome though.

Thanks for the kind words, we really do appreciate hearing them. And "yup", got me a pair of new binos - Swarovski 8.5 EL's!

I believe you pay for what you get. I have been using WT"s for 5 years or more. Have had great success with the caller. I have owned most of the other ones or been on stands where they were in use. I will take my WT any day. Sounds are really the key. You will hear all kinds of debate on the boards about the WT versus the other brands. Do the research and spend the extra money. You will not be disappointed. Bill Martz has probably forgot more about animal sounds than we will ever learn. There you go. This ought to get the posts going.

I looked at the WT caller site again,I couldn't remember one of my concerns----it was the 90 day limted warranty..!With a few extra sounds it's a $1000 thousand dollar caller,I have no doubt it is a fine machine but that's a short amount of time to stand behind a product.IMO.What do you guy's think? sporterweight,
A man can spend that much money on a good rifle and scope combo very easily, and I don't often hear people groaning about it either. I still havn't bit my lip and bought a WT either, but then I just might one day. [Smile] I'm not sure whether the critters care that much or not, but I still believe that the WT has best sound quality of any electronic caller available today. The remote control for a WT is certainly reliable for a longer distance than any of the others. I have a new Loudmouth caller on the way, which I hope to receive next week. Maybe the Loudmouth will change my mind about which caller is best. I sure will let you guys know what my findings are when I get to testing the new Loudmouth. You can take that to the bank.

Rich,Yes Sir you can spend $1000 on a rifle-scope combo very easily but I believe you would get a longer warranty than 90 days..I just haven't had very good luck with electronic gadgets in my life.
On day 91 if the doomahicky shorted out the kanuter switch and there was a $350 repair bill,I would have to lay down in the floor and say "sweet Jesus why me--why me".IMO it is the Cadillac of callers and the range on the remote leaves nothing to be desired..Also Rich i'd like to ask you a question on howling. I'm going to put it on a new topic,if someone wasn't interested in this WT caller talk and didn't read this they'd not be able to chime in.. [Smile] Sporterweight

If the WT is incapable of playing "studio quality" Willie Nelson, how good can it be? LB

sporterweight,
You make a good point with that repair bill thing, and if it was gonna happen to anybody it would be ME!! [Smile]

Leonard,
I don't think Willy Nelson can SING in studio quality. His guitar, now that is another story. Even with that stupid hole worn in the side from all of that picking----That is real studio quality. [Smile]
