A member of Huntmasters sent me a few antler calls. The pictures don't do the craftsmanship justice. These are beautiful handmade calls and definitely a step above anything in my calling bag. Thank-you Dic.

Hey, aren't you the lucky one! If you can make them work on Pennsylvania coyotes, be sure and tell us about it!

Good hunting. LB

Doug, those are really beautiful calls. Dic made Tyler and me some of those. Ours are prettier and sound better than yours. Dic likes us more.

Doug,
Thank you for the kind words, now lets see if they work, LOL I'm glad you are happy with them. I started makeing my own calls 15 years ago by robin parts from other mass produced calls and building the bodies from antler. It took a long time to learn how to tune them to the antler, they have to flow together to make a flowing tone.

I like a extra Rrrraspy jack and none of the mass produced calls will do that without modifacation. I thought if I have to modify all of them why not just make my own. Now all of my calls are tested before they go out. Every call I build either calls coyotes or it is reworked and tested again. If they don't work they don't go out.I have some that sound good to me but have never called a coyote"YET" sooner or later.

Rich, never calls me anymore, [Frown] I'm feeling a little left out see, Rich hunts with PUP and W@W and talks about it, just to rub it in and make me feel bad. [Confused] I'm just not worthy [Wink]

Thanks again Doug, Leonard and Rich

Dic

I will be willing to bet, I can call up a coyote with just the squalling, Whimpering and waling I can do . Because I don't have one of Dic's antler calls.

Well, With a Rich Higgin's howler, And two of Sly Dog's antler calls. I guess I will have to switch to crow shooting.

Don't think there will be a Coyote left in these parts in site of two Moons.

VH,

You sir, are ahead of me on that note. I still have to use my open reed howler. Rich don't like me like he likes you [Wink] and pup [Wink] and W@W [Wink] POOOOOR Dic, all camo'ed up and no howler to blow.

Realy Rich has been so busy that he can't get caught up, hell we never get to talk anymore.

BTW I think I got my computer up and I'm not sure but I think I will be able to load those programs soon.

Also glad you like the calls.
