I was thinking about trying to build my own predator calls. I only hunt fox because there aren't that many coyotes in my area. Where are some of the places you guys buy your closed reeds at? I have an address for a place called J C products but can't find any information on the web. I did see somewhere you could buy them by bulk but can't find it any more.

Well I was going to do this on my new website soon but ol AP beat me to it.Go to AllPredatorCalls.com and he is selling bulk reeds(25 at a time) for about 20 bucks. If you buy em in true bulk from JC Products you will have to buy 250 at a time. JC doesnt have a site, you just call em. [ February 27, 2003, 11:59 AM: Message edited by: Lone Howl ]

Thanks guys. I will probably wish that I didn't try this eventually but for now I'd like to try and experiment with makin my own. I have an address for J C products but no phone number. Would one of you guys happen to have a phone number for them? Thanks again.
Nice site too...

If you ever build an open reed call, or need to replace an open reed reed and can't find mylar, just hack up a plastic Dixie cup. Jest if you must, but it works suprisingly well, even in sub zero temps.
