Hey Fellas,
Went hunting again and my mentor used a Johnny Stewart e-caller. It played tapes.
I was wondering if there are ways to make your own setup. He spent about $200. All i saw in the bag was a cassette player hooked up to some sort of amplifier to power up an outdoor speaker.
Anyone make their own e-caller? (It looks too simple to have to pay $200 for...That and i'm broke and can't call worth a damn )
Thanks for the info, Neil

Niel,
I too, am too poor to buy a $200 e-caller...
Lucky for you and me, a nice man has written this article on how to build a good one... so good in fact, that it is said one of the commercial ones is a copy of the design commercially produced.

If you already own a walkman/discman you should be able to put one together for well under $50!
There is also an article there on how to record your own tapes using your computer as a studio.

You should find both of these articles very helpful,
