It's happening now. An AI test model escaped the "sandbox" that was supposed to contain it, then gained access to the internet and hacked in to another company's computer. All on its own. Skynet is alive and well.

Yeah, .............. Newscum wants to put the brakes on A.J. for 'safeguards' but there's no way to put the Genie back in the bottle.
China, Russia, & probably India are going all out with this and I'm pretty sure that they don't have our best interests in mind.
I've always believed that 'Technology makes a wonderful servant but a poor Master'. If we don't stay ahead of the curve on this, we wil eventually be truly fuked. ............. and may be anyway.
Edit to add; How ironic would it be if the salvation of Man-Kind comes from the computer viruses infesting internet porn sites ???

Just noticed this babble. Could be true? But, I would settle for a clear unfettered explanation of what exactly is AI and what it can do as well as what it might do? Is it just like the year 2000 scare? Is it doom and gloom assholes imagining doomsday scenarios on speed? It can’t possibly be as bad as some nerds are predicting. All we can do is wait and see, besides worrying about DATA CENTERS!
